Botanical Name: Argania Spinosa

Extraction Method: Cold Pressed

Description: Argan Carrier Oil is an oil produced from the kernels of the endemic Argan tree, that is valued for its nutritive, cosmetic and numerous medicinal properties. Grown in North Africa and mainly in Morocco, the Argan tree grows wild in semi-desert soil, and is extremely well adapted to drought. Argan Oil is considered to be one of the rarest oils in the world due the small and very specific growing area and is under protection of UNESCO.

Color: Pale yellow to golden yellow liquid

Aromatic Description: Argan Carrier Oil has a sweet, pleasant nutty scent.

Common Uses: Argan Carrier Oil is used in manufacturing soaps, creams and shampoos. It is rich in vitamin E, carotenes, antioxidants and essential fatty acids, is used for massage, facials and as an ingredient in anti-aging cream and even aftershave lotion for men. Argan Oil can also be used to nourish the hair making it shiny and healthy looking.

Consistency: Typical and Characteristic of Carrier Oils.

Absorption: Absorbs into skin at average speed, slight oil feeling left on skin.

Shelf Life: Argan Carrier Oil is slow to become rancid; users can expect a shelf life of 1 to 2 years with proper Storage (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.

i started using this oil on my face and neck about a month ago, i mix a small amount with my regular cream in the a.m and my make up stays perfectly. my skin just drinks this up. at night i put a generous amount as a last step to my routine, either over retinol moisturizer or aha moisturizer, i alternate nights wthese. i have noticed a definite increase in the plumpness of my skin, i started noticing the difference after about a week of consistant use. i have also been using baobab oil around my eyes and on my lips. i feel that adding these products has improved the moisture level of my skin like nothing else. i am 37 and have minimal wrinkles, but my skin is very dry, and nothing ever lasts the course of the day & if i put something heavy on, my makeup doesnt hold, which looks just as bad as dehydratedtired skin. in summary, my skin looks and feels plump and hydrated, not oily or greasy. my eye bags are less noticible because that area has plumped up too. people have been asking what im doing, that tells me that the difference is obvious to others as well. i hope to see continued improvement, but am happy if these results remain.

I've added this oil to my "Leave-In" Hair Conditioner and I love it. My hair has been strengthened and it's whole appearance has been improved. Great smoothness and shine. It is a very, very good addition to hair care "potions". Thank you!

I love this stuff. I've put it in shampoo and conditioner, and added it to a spray oil that I use (along with tea tree chinese EO and evening primrose CO) to treat my psoriasis condition. It leaves skin and hair both feeling conditioned. Best of all, however, I have added it to my usual silicone-based hair styling product (two drops) and my hair looks amazing after blowdrying. It is an unbelievable difference I determined that I had to try this because a friend of mine is addicted to moroccanoil products - upon investigation, I learned that this product line is, essentially, a number of silicone based styling products with a little argan oil added in. (Moroccanoil costs the moon). I am glad that I tried this. This is an amazing addition to my personal regimen. For people interested in commercial applications, this would be a great addition to natural hair care products, and argan oil is so trendy now. You can't beat the price either.
