Botanical Name: Persea americana Extraction Method: Cold Pressed Description: Avocado contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, D, E, and Beta carotene. It is classified as a monosaturated oil. It is best suited for dry skin conditions in topical applications. Color: Yellow/Green to Green/Brown depending upon the Lot. Avocado may go cloudy in low temperatures but will return to normal. Aromatic Description: Description: Avocado has very little scent characteristic of most carrier oils Common Uses: Small amounts of Avocado Oil is typically added to other carrier oils in order to enrich protein and vitamin content. It is used predominantly by manufacturers (particularly great in soaps, lotions and creams) and massage therapists. Consistency: Typical but slightly thicker than most Carrier Oils. Absorption: Avocado will leave a sticky, waxy feel if applied topically to large areas of skin Shelf life: Avocado oil is slow to go rancid; users can expect a shelf life of 6 Months to 1 Year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). I mix this oil with NDA's mac nut oil and pumpkin seed oil as an oil blend and as a lotion for the body. It's very rich and helps combat dry hair issues also.

I really like this oil. I mix it with some sweet almond oil and use it to dilute essential oils for my bath. I also use this mix for moisturizing my skin. I love that it is packed with so many vitamins and my skin feels so good when I use it. Plus, I think the price is great.

I am using this with a new avocado lime organic glycerine soap and I love it!
Also grand in a massage oil.

I am having wonderful success with this oil. It blends so nicely in my lip balms and body butters, easily absorbs into the skin beautifully and softens skin wonderfully. Highly recommend!

I agree with the other review that say that this is the best price that can be found in Canada- because it sure is! A great oil too. Wonderful for my lotions! It will be lovely to advertise all the wonderful benefits of avacado oil. I was very excited to find some good stuff!
