Our Ayurvedic oils are preblended and ready to use. They are best applied warm, and are suitable for application all over the body (except scalp) in a unidirectional motion from the center towards the periphery without excessive pressure. Used as a Massage balm, this is a very effective product for pain relief.

This is a fabulous product for pain relief! It doesn't have the burning effect of some of the other products that are used for muscle pain. I add some Chammomile to this product for the anti-inflammatory effect and it works great to relieve pain. It has a nice cinnamon scent and you don't notice the camphor smell as with other products. My only suggestion is that it not be applied after a bath or shower because the pores on the skin are open and it has a reddening effect. This is great for knee pain, back pain, arthritic joint pain..... I was actually started on this product from a sample given to me by Todd at New Directions and I would never go back to my old Tiger Balm after using pain balm Sandy
