Description: Bilberry is a variety of Blueberry mainly used for its therapeutic benefits. The berry is creamy white instead of purple. It is a perennial shrub native to Northern Europe, North America and Canada.

Historical Use:
Bilberry has been used to treat spider veins, varicose veins, strengthen capillaries, improve circulation, lower the risk of cardiovascular disease, improve visual functions, and fight eyestrain and myopia. It is also used as an anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and to combat gastrointestinal problems including diarrhea.
