I created a sanctuary scent for night time using this, lavender and bergamot. Delicious and very helpful in creating a soothing sleep environment.

Wonderful scent! If you are expecting the usual cedarwood oil, you won't find it with this one. It's woody, with a hint of spice. Blends very well with blood orange and a hint of lemon. Great bath fragrance!

This is my first cedarwood oil. I really enjoy it! This isn't as ridiculously strong as I thought it would be, it's actually very approachable.

a beautiful cedar oil. the scent is fresh, green, marvelously uplifting. i make sachets with this cedar, french lavender and peppermint to keep away moths -- knock on wood, they seem to be finally gone! (i also put a few drops of this blend in the rinse water of all my laundry).

Not happy with this oil at all. Smells nothing like Cedarwood.

Smoky balsamic aroma with a bit of sweetness and spice. There's also a bit of camphoraceous sharpness in it that, I'm sure, helps to repel insects. I've seen cedarwood in a lot of pet products. I don't particularly know the difference between all the other varieties of cedarwood, but I can tell you that this one is awesome. Try using it for your hair and skin.

This is certainly the best cedarwood eo that I have tried! It is much more rounded than the Virginian atlas cedarwood that I used first. I like to diffuse it in my room for a calming scent.

I've tried Atlas, Texas, and Himalayan Cedarwood, and the Atlas is BY FAR my favorite. The other two are too sharp and camphoraceous for my taste.

a gorgeous cedar oil -- spicy, clean, uplifting. i sprinkle it in my closet to keep the moths away. also made a marvelous soothing bath oil with this cedar, frankincense and spruce hemlock.

I was curious about how this type of cedarwood essential oil would smell, l have loved it since the moment I took my first sniff. It is definitely different than the cedarwood I usually get but still a very pleasant scent. I will enjoy playing with it and seeing what new scents I can come up with this one!

This is the most amazing scent ever. There are a complex mix of floral tones with a nice base of woodsy cedar wood mixed with many more light uplifting notes. I do believe it's my new favorite essential oil. Thank you, NDA, for distributing this incredible ingredient.

This is now my favorite Cedarwood EO...well-rounded, sexy and simply irresistable! The aroma is complex, yet subtle and I can't wait to blend with other EOs.

A wonderful EO! I add this with Wild Black Spruce and a smidgen of Fir OEs in my diffusor. I feel like I am tucked away in a cabin up high in the mountains - I become totally distressed!!

I don't think my last review got through, obviously the reviews reflect on this excellent oil. This is the first time I've ordered this (flavor), to me I could almost eat it. I can't get enough, this is by far the best cedarwood oil, the price and quality can't be beat! I like this better than atlas, a stronger smell Thanks again N.D.A.!

A very sweet, surprisingly inexpensive oil that brightens up many blends similar to how citrus does. I use it as an equivalent to franincense in mediative blends.

I love the woodsy scent that the cedarwood himalayan adds to a floral blend. I used a few drops mixed with lavender and rose to give the blend a more "grounded" scent. I am also looking forward to blending it with bergamot and rosemary. At first, the cedarwood can seem a bit overpowering, but it mellows when it is mixed. I highly recommend for either feminine or masculine blends.

Right out of the bottle it was a bit stronger and muskier then I expected, however it smells great when I used it to scent my soaps. It is a scent that works well for both men and women.

Cedarwood Himalayan has a gamy, wild aroma that gives it a completely different edge compared with local cedarwood oils. I like the properties, especially for blending. It stands up very well to other strong EO's.

mmm, this Cedarwood seems to be more mild, soft and woody than the rest, very nice. Probably better vesion for the sedative properties of Cedarwood.

This is my favourite EO...I find it warm, soothing and intoxicating. Beautiful as a single note and a favourite ingredient in a blend of Himalayan Cedarwood, Basil and Lemon. I have tested it in soy candles, and have found the scent holds but is rather subtle.

Rich, heady EO which blends with Neroli to lift mood.

This oil is the answer for anyone looking for just the right scent for their male clients. I consider this a very sharp, masculine scent, perfect for creating soaps and sport rubs geared toward males. It would also be great for using alone or in blends to re-create a "lodge" scent for use in saunas, or as room fresheners.

This essential oil is very precious in my soapmaking. It is a rich woody and balsamic smelling essential oil. I mix it with other balsamic essential oils. Its smell brings a feeling of well being and calm.

I have purchased other cedarwood himalayan oils from several other, very reputable, providers, and they have all smelt about the same, very nice, sweet, a little sharp. They were all more than satisfactory. I ordered cedarwood himalayan from new directions, and gave it a smell. This is some really good stuff!!! Much, much, better than any I have tried. It is "sweeter" a little softer and no bit on the "top". It, the fragrance, is also much more "defined", substantial, "thick" if you will. This cedar out-classes anyother cedar I have presently. There are so many varieties of cedarwood, this one is very similar to the Atlas varitey and is a Possible ABORTIFACIENT. Do not use if pregnant. I use it in my acne blend but does have many other uses like: anxiety, arthritis, bronchitis, catarrh, cellulite, confidence building, cystitis, dandruff, dermatitis, eczema, fungal infections, greasy skin, hair loss, rheumatism, skin eruptions, stress, ulcers. (Also known as Deodar Cedarwood oil.) Cedarwood is also a spiritual helper as well, and this one is of highest caliber.
