Description: The cinnamon tree is an evergreen native to China and Vietnam that has since been cultivated in many other regions. It has shiny, leathery green leaves, and small, white flowers with oval shaped purple berries.
Color: Clear yellow to golden yellow liquid.
Common Uses: Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil is highly respected as having antiseptic properties. Some material indicates that it is perfect in topical applications, and with its pleasant scent, a perfect additive to creams, lotions, and soaps. Other materials recommend that Cinnamon Bark be avoided in aromatherapy. From a spiritual perspective, it is believed to have a warming, uplifting characteristic.
Consistency: Medium
Note: Middle
Strength of Aroma: Strong
Blends well with: Frankincense, Lavender, Cedarwood, Orange, Lemon, Neroli, Ylang-ylang.
Aromatic Scent: Cinnamon Bark Oil has a warm, spicy scent that is somewhere between clove and cinnamon. It is slightly herbaceous with pepper notes.
History: Medicinal use of Cinnamon Bark was first recorded in Chinese formulations as early as 2700 B.C. The herb has been used as a healing aid for stomach upset and gas, diarrhea, rheumatism, kidney ailments, and abdominal pain. The Egyptians used it as a foot massage, as well as a remedy for excessive bile. It was used as an ingredient of mulled wines, love potions and a sedative during birth.
Cautions: Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil can be irritating to the skin and mucous membranes - particularly in large doses. It should always be used in dilution. Avoid use during pregnancy.

Mmmmm, what a lovely scent! I mixed this with Sweet Orange and used in my warmer. Makes the whole room wonderfully-inviting. NDA packages their 16.6oz oils in really rugged aluminum bottles so there's no worry about too much light or breaking a bottle. 5 Stars for the Cinnamon Bark oil!

I recently purchased Cinnamon Bark (Steam) EO to use in a fall smudge that I sell. Knowing your products I was anticipating a good product. I thought it smelled great especially when blended with Blood Orange, and your Cinnamon Floral water as a base. I can't wait to see peoples reaction to it. Thank you.

This smells just like cinnamon red hot candies to me. Not so much the spice. I love it, it will work well in blends for my candles. Though watch getting it on your skin. I got the smallest amount on my hand and it burned. I will be using gloves for this.

Yummy! I love the smell of this cinnamon, I burn it in my soapstone burner with 5 fold sweet orange and it is fantastic, but dont get any on your skin because it will sting.

WOW!! If you want cinnamon then look no further!! An amazing scent and it only takes a few tiny drops. I use this in my diffuser with either Coffee EO or Peppermint EO. I also did a great soap too. I am in love with this EO!!

I mix with the Cinnamon Bark (steam)with Clove, Eucalyptus, Lemon 5 fold, and Rosemary Spanish to make my own version of "Theives" which is very expensive. It is such a beautiful scent. I love all of them together or alone, this is a great company with high quality oils !

This cinnamon is EXCELLENT!! A "true" cinnamon. Very deep, rich, and spicy. Other cinnamon oils just do not stand up to this one. This is what you want a cinnamon oil to smell like. Lovely in the diffuser, but also soaps and bath products. Both sensual and comforting. Very easy to blend and it does not overpower other oils.

This is the "true" cinnamon and as such has a much sweeter, fruitier fragrance as compared to Cassia (Chinese Cinnamon) which smells more like people expect of cinnamon. The aroma is heavenly. I put out a whole batch of candles from this and they were gone almost immediately.

I've always loved cinnamon...cinnamon anything: candy, the spice added to baking, scent. I just never realized how versatile it is. A little goes a long way and can darken a blend that might be getting a little too light. It has a yummy lasting quality. A lot of my friends think that the cinnamon, clove, and citrus blend I made smells like Christmas.

This is the best cinnamon oil, adding a touch of Clove and Cassia made it come alive with more of a cinnamon candy smell! Great in a blend of citrus and Ylang Ylang.

I am very impressed with your company. My product arrived in a timely fashion and I was pleasantly surprised to see how well it was wrapped for shipment and on top of that a "Thank You" note was enclosed. I don't believe I have ever dealt with a company who took such extra care in satisfying a customer. I love the Cinnamon Bark and will probably try many of your other products in the future

Much stronger than the recommended cinnamon leaf, but if used well diluted can help with anorexia, anti fungal, stimulating childbirth contractions, chills, colds, debility, fear, frigidity, gum care, induces menstruation, infection, isolation, lice, loneliness, poor circulation, rheumatism, scanty periods, stress, warts, wasp stings. A very warm sensual oil. Priced right and good quality.
