This is the third type of body-moisturizing product that I have tried from ND. My problem so far is that the body butter and lotion have been thicker than I have wanted and I found them hard to blend. I was surpised when this came in a tub instead of a bottle, but that prompted me to put it in the boston plastic jar instead of a bottle. I found this very easy to blend with. Then I was delighted by using it. It goes on light, absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin silky for a full day, which is practically a miracle in the Arizona summer. I happened to use a FO instead of an EO with it, so I don't know if it affected the lingering effects of the scent, but the scent lasts all day too! May be my favorite ND discovery, yet!

I have always been very limited in my use of this cream base. Only recently did I branch out beyond therapeutic use. I used the base with fragrant oil and some silk powder. My clients raved for weeks. The silk powder is a perfect addition to the base- gives a rich luxurious feel. I give it five stars.

At first, I put few drops of rosewood and cedarwood and I wasn't satisfied with the scent and I just need to put some more to make it my own. But when I added few amount of Rose Geranium Floral Water and strawberry fruit extract, I can't beleive that I made my very own cream.. I love it!!
I also been using this on my face and the result is amazing especially this winter season. I have to see how it will go on my face on summer. Love this product so much.

It is cold here this winter in New York and the lotions I used before are just enough. It is good lotion to use in cold and dry weather. It feels thick but left skin feel smooth. All said and done, it is a good protective body and facial lotion.

Very thick but this allows you to add a lot of E.O's which I love. And I recommend adding a floral water to it if you like it a bit thinner. For really dry skin I just use it straight up. Anyway you look at it this is a wonderful lotion is far superior to any other I have tried. Great price too!

I have been purchasing bases from many different companies and experimenting. When tested by family, friends and co-workers, this base won every time as the favorite. Most of the time it has been a landslide victory. In my recent blind test, it even beat the Ultra Premium Cream. (The Ultra Premium won every time though, when the testers were given the ingredient listing with each product.) I will be back again and again for more - because I keep running out! Keep up the good work!!

This is a wonderful base at a perfect price. You can add you extracts or EO's and it works perfectly! My customers love this product and are always complimenting me on its feel. My unscented customers also love it!

I use to work with the formula without almond oil and just loved it. I feel it is too bad NDA is not carrying it anymore, since I have clients allergic to nuts. Also, I work with small children and use this wonderful cream to introduce them to aroma. Too bad I will have to find another product without the almond oil.

This base is AMAZING ... I made hand and body creams with New Directions Essential Oils for all my friends and family for Christmas and people have not stopped talking about this AMAZING lotion!
Of course adding the right essential oils does help but everyone thinks this is the creamiest and most moisturizing lotion they have used ever!
I especially love adding rosemary and mint essential oils for rough elbows and feet or try tea tree and carrot essential oil for especially dry skin!
Used alone this cream base healed broken skin on both my elbows and my husbands! His were rough and dry from working in the garage and mine looked red and sore like carpet burns. After ONE APPLICATION within a few hours BOTH of us had soft supple skin on our elbows!
I will continue to keep a supply of this cream base!
Also works great for facial scrubs and exfoilants as well when soap product is added!

Great Cream if you're looking for something very thick. I use this one when I need something that isn't going to absorb as quickly, but will also leave a nice soft feeling as it does absorb. A little thicker than I was expecting though, this one requires a pump or an upside down bottle as it is very viscous.
