Description: Cypress Australian is a slow-growing tree native to Australian. The compact, neat tree, with blue-green foliage reaches heights of 75 feet, and its branches can spread up to 30 feet at the base.

Color: Brilliant blue viscous liquid.

Common Uses: Cypress Australian Blue Essential Oil is well known for its skincare properties – specifically moisturizing and soothing properties. Amongst aromatherapists and manufacturers, this oil is considered very similar to Blue Chamomile. It is also regarded as being a soothing and relaxing agent for the nerves without sedative properties.

Blends well with: Lavender, Tea Tree, Lemon Myrtle and Geranium, Cedarwood, Pine, Orange, Sandalwood, Clary Sage, Juniper, Rose, Jasmine, and Cardamom.

Aromatic Scent: Cypress Australian Blue Essential Oil has been characterized as sweet, balsamic and spicy. It has a very pleasant evergreen aroma that is a wonderful combination of smoky, woody and dry elements. It also has fruity and slightly nutty tones with comparisons to an exotic Cedarwood.

History: The Australian Aborigines knew of the amazing skin moisturizing properties of Blue Cypress for thousands of years; they used it to protect their skin from the harsh desert climate. In aromatherapy circles, the oil is sometimes referred to as the “ABC” essential oil – “Australian Blue Cypress”.

Cautions: None known. This oil is regarded as being very gentle and suitable for all skin types.

I love this oil. I've used it diluted in a carrier oil on my neck and foot for pain. The pain is gone so quickly. The pain is gone so quickly. I also really like the smell of this oil. I'm glad I found it and will buy it again/.

My husband's neck muscles are stiff and aching so I've been massaging his neck with different essential oils. This one is the only one that relieved the pain and stiffness. I have now mixed up an entire bottle with the "blue oil" for him. This oil is a little pricier than other oil but is totally worth the investment. The scent is very pleasant also.

I have used my blue cypress in a few ways. I use it in blends for bath water and lotions. I have also used it in blends to freshen my house. I have gotten several comments from friends from the unique scent. I have a bottle on my tub ledge ready for times I just need an extra push for a calming bath. It does the trick every time.

I have been consistently using this blue cypress with german chamomile and carrot seed in glacial clay as a mask. The changes in my skin are amazing. The discolorations are gone and my skin feels soft and toned. These quality essential oils are outstanding.
