EcoSoya Container Blend (CB-Advanced) Wax (Kosher Certified)

Description:
Also known as EcoSoya CB-Advanced, this Container blend is made from pure 100% soybeans and carefully selected botanical oils. EcoSoya™ CB-Advanced Soy has extreme resistance to bloom (white frosting) and “wet spots”. It contracts slightly to produce a uniform beautiful appearance, requires only one pour, has good scent throw with both fragrances and essential oils, and a creamy white appearance.

I just purchased this wax about a week ago, and used it last night! I have never made candles before, so I made sure to read the directions, and followed them as closely as I could. My votives (used the NDA 6-candle votive mold) came out perfectly! I went pretty easy on the EOs (only about 2%), and so far, there's not much smell to them. I do plan on burning one tomorrow night to see if I can detect the scent. Also, I put the entire mold into the fridge, and within 4 hours, they had set and came out with no trouble! I used no product to keep the wax from sticking to the mold. This wax was simple to use (I heated it to 155 degrees F) and I plan on making many candles in the future!

This wax is excellent! I love working with it! Event thought it makes great container candles, when I accidently poured some on my hands, I realised it was also very soothing and mosturising to the skin! Could it accually be used in cosmetics?? I wonder!!

This wax is absolutely great!! It really is a must to read the instructions, every wax seems to have different care instructions. I had read somewhere else to bring the temp up to 180 to add dye and fragrance. This doesn't work so well with this wax. It's almost like the fragrance burnt away or something because it doesn't have much smell compared to another batch that wasn't heated so high. Again thank you New Directions, you really are at the top of the chain for candle & soap making supplies. It is really nice to be able to buy most of everything from one place. We always welcome your new products.

I have used other CB soy blends. This is the best soy ever! I am glad the New Directions decided to carry candle supplies. New Directions way to go!! love your products and continue finding new products. Thanks also for your advise.

This product is great because it can be used for candles as well as in soap (I use it instead of palm kernal oil). I've tried several different brands of soy wax (including the EcoSoya Container) for candles and this has the best scent throw and burn time.
