Description: Our Cosmetic Bases are specifically formulated to be extremely robust. Essential Oils, Fragrant Oils, Botanical Extracts and various Raw Materials can be added in order to customize each product. Within minutes, even a hobbyist can produce an upscale, high quality product that has been personalized to their preference. We have also made every effort to produce the most natural based products possible.
Please Note: As with any manufacturing process, New Directions Aromatics encourages small, lab scale manufacturing for evaluation purposes prior to full commercial manufacturing.
We recommend that no more than 0.5% of any essential oil be added to our cosmetic bases. Exceeding this amount may destabilize bonds between the ingredients. Over time this may cause our bases to lose some of their luxurious properties including viscosity, smooth feel and rate of absorption.

I like this one a lot. It's very easy to customize with the ground apricot pits. I like a lot of exfoliation so I add a lot. But for friends with more sensitive skin I leave it as is. The cream is light and rinses off well. Takes fragrance well.

I like this product but I don't love it. I expected the exfoliant agent to be finer than it is. It's gentle as the exfoliant agent is mixed in a lot of cream but I think this could be made even better if you ground up the shells a bit more. Then you could use less cream and your face wouldn't be left with as much of an light, greasy feel.

With this product, you really don't anything else. Put it in a jar and it's almost like a finished product. Great exfoliant and really soft on the skin!
