Common Uses: Flaxseed is reputed to be an excellent treatment ezcema and psoriasis.
It is often added to other carrier oils and creams and lotions in order to add skin strengthening properties. It is also an anti-inflammatory and is good for preventing scarring and stretch marks. Flaxseed oil can also be used to nourish the hair.

Shelf life: Flaxseed oil is quick to go rancid; users can expect a shelf life of 6 months to 1 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
