I thank you all for your informative comments. So may I ask? How do you make m&p shea butter soap soft? How much oils can I add lets say to 1 pound? And which oils are better? Palm vs coconut? Butters? etc.. Your response is greatly appreciated. |

If you are trying to make cream soap, you will need potassium hydroxide and rework your recipe. _________________ Irena

The area where I live has very hard water and I cant afford a water softner. What I noticed with the soap that i initially listed the "ingredients" it leaves my skin soft and without dryness after shower (at times I dont have to lather lotion on). So, my intention is to duplicate it. I took a class and read up on several different books on soapmaking. All the material I read was about cold and hot process soaps using tallow, etc. I never imagined that this wonderful soap was m and p. I have made m and p before and were very hard even after i added some oils. So once again any suggestions? |
