A complex, rich, lush, floral fragrance. Top notes include muguet, ozone floral, citrus, juicy pineapple, ripe banana, raspberry, bergamot and plum. Heart notes of jasmine, lilac, plumeria, ylang ylang, rosemary, chamomile, honeysuckle, hyacinth and camphor. Amber, creamy coconut, powder and musk complete the fragrance.

this one is a little different than I expected, considering that frangipani is just another name for plumeria, and this doesn't smell like the plumeria I have growing in my back yard. That said, it does smell good--like a tropical flower, sweet and exotic. It works nicely with other florals to give an island feel.

I received my first NDA order with this wonderful FO in it and was so excited! I wasn't sure what to expect other than a tropical floral...WOW was I underestimating this fragrance. It's an instant mini vacation. The floral aspect is not so overpowering that you don't smell the fruit notes and vice versa. I can't wait to use this in my body care products!

After falling in love with this flower when I was in Bali in '05 I've happy to have found out the name of this flower when I got back and now the fragrance! Finally! Too bad no one sells this as an essential oil though. I read that the fragrance cannot be extracted via that process. Does anyone know how this oil is made? I read fragrant oil is made from coal tar. If that is true, is this one made from coal tar? Anyways the smell is deep rich, floral with a hint of fruitness and very very rich and complex.

Cherry gets ten stars for how helpful she's been to me. I purchased Frangipani Fragrant Oil, but I was not successful in finding HOW TO use this oil to CREATE A PERFUME. Do I use just the oil? Do I dilute the oil to stretch the product? If dilution is needed, what do I use as a base that WILL NOT change the FRANGRANCE OF THE FRANGIPANI OIL? Thanks and Merry Christmas

Oh, now this was a surprise! I ordinarily don't care for synthetic florals, as they always smell terribly artificial and shallow and sickly to me, but I ordered this on a whim anyway. It is fantastic. It actually has *depth* to it! It's perfect mixed with the Sun and Sand FO, as well, for delivering a complete (and frighteningly convincing) sense-memory of one of the better weeks of my life. Very, very nice.

This scent smells as close to the real thing as you can get. I spent a month in Bali, Indonesia, Frangipanis were everywhere. I miss these flowers so much, I bought this scent for my soaps and bath products. I'm very happy with this scent and delighted ND carrries it!
