Great scent, but it may help quicken trace in CP soap. I used 1 ounce in a 4 pound recipe and it started to thicken up immediately. I was still able to use it, but I think it would have been a total loss if I had used more than one ounce.
But did I mention it had a great scent? Yummy!

Great smelling vanilla, kinda like icing. I added this to a cp soap and it tinted it a tan color , looked good though. Great fo!

This scent is a really good seller. Works well in cp, turns it a dark fudge brown colour and is wonderful in bath melts. A little does go a long way!

I don't like this scent on it's own, but it smells fantastic when mixed with peppermint essential oil. I also found that it darkens cp soap, but it does not seem to accelerate trace.

This is the rich french vanilla that everyone knows and loves. It's exactly what you would expect, and stands beautifully on its' own, but of course would mix well with others. There are so many vanilla's to choose from, and I wasn't sure which ones I really wanted, so I ordered all of them! But this one is the original rich french vanilla that will stand on its' own, but if you're looking for a creme get the "vanilla." It smells like vanilla ice cream, and is great for making scents like lemon creme, or orange creme.

I love that I can really smell a real vanilla scent that has an almost creamy base. Smells like vanilla beans mixed with a a light cream. The fragrance is not too light. Very well done.

Just a quick update...made cp soap with this sent four weeks ago. I used 2.5 oz to scent 4 pounds of soap. It did not acelerate trace, and did not discolour immediately. I knew it would discolour at some point, so I used 2 Tbsp. of titanium dioxide to try and combat the depth of brown, scored the top with a fork so that it would look like cake. Now that it's fully cured, it's a medium shade of brown...a cooler shade, not warm. I've called it Vanilla Fudge as it suits the scent and the appearance. I will try more titanium dioxide next time and see if I can't lighten it further. Smells delicious....good enough to eat!

I haven't tried this scent in cp or hp soap yet, so can't comment on coloring or acceleration of trace, but the aroma out of the bottle reminds me of homemade vanilla icecream; the kind that is made with an egg custard base. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Can't wait to smell it in soap!!

Warm, buttery and absolutely delicious, French Vanilla sells well and has a great scent throw in soaps and lotions alike. A little goes a long way with this scent, and the scent lingers gently.

This is a beautiful vanilla!! It turns CP soap dark brown (as most vanillas do) but the discoloration is worth it! I've been searching for a worthy vanilla for a long time, and I found it it this fragrance.

Very strong and sweet. Perhaps a little too candyish for me but people seem to really like it in soap!

It is a great scent in the product after the first synthetic weave from the bottle is gone ;-) It gives the opaque mp soaps and cp-soaps a beautiful tan-color and you save yourself the colorant. (otherwise use vanilla stabilizers against discoloration or swirl with unscented white soap, turns out beautiful!)
