A beautiful gardenia fragrance. Top notes of muguet, jasmine, strawberry and grape. Heart notes of gardenia, lilac, rose, hyacinth and narcissus. Base notes of balsam, amber musk, woods and violet.

Also disappointed in this one. It smells like soap to me, and it didn't do well in a blend of oils that I made. I have a gardenia enfleurage from another supplier that smells so incredibly heavenly in comparison. If you like a soapy scent, then you might like this, but this doesn't smell like any actual gardenia I've ever smelled.

I agree with the other reviewer that said they were disappointed in this scent. I used Chanel Gardenia as my signature fragrance for years, absolutely love most other gardenia scents. This smells nothing like any gardenia I've ever encountered. It is powdery and strongly perfumy with a heavy musk, I detest musky scents, with my asthma it makes me feel as if I can't breathe. Was very disappointed in this scent, I have no idea what I'll do with it. Perhaps try and combine it with something else or just throw it out.

I bought this scent for my wife. She loves Gardenia. We have a tree in our house that she treats like her own pet. All I could say about this smell is OMG. This smells better than the real flowers in our house. It is an amazing gardenia smell and true. There is no chemical smell at all. WOW. Buy this one guys.

I adore the heady, floral aroma of gardenia, and was really looking forward to this one--I'm a big fan of NDA. But this oil doesn't smell a thing like gardenia. It's powdery, extremely perfumey, and soapy. A major disappointment, among so many other wins.

Funny, I bought this fragrant oil and the smell (although it is well done) did not please to me... but it has been a great hit in my last public soap sale. No one single soap was remainging. People love it !
