Botanical Name: Zingiber officinalis Oleoresin Ginger is an extract of the ground-dried rhizomes of Sinsiber offlcinale Roscoe. It has a refreshing aroma of ginger & when diluted it has a pungent, biting sensation. Ginger Oleoresin contains principles: gingerol and shogaol apart from the volatile oil of ginger and are used as an aromatic, carminative and stimulant.

Description: Spice Oleoresins are the concentrated liquid form of the spice; they represent all of the character of the respective spice and spice oil fully. They are obtained by the solvent extraction of the powdered dried spices with subsequent removal of solvent. Oleoresins are typically used in the food industry.
