Description: The grapefruit tree was originally from Asia but it is now grown and harvested in the United States, France, Brazil and Israel. The grapefruit tree itself is a large, shiny gloss-leaved tree, about 10 meters (30 feet) high, with white flowers and large, pale yellow fruit with pink flesh.

Color: Pink to and orange-pink liquid.

Common Uses: Grapefruit Pink Essential Oil is believed by aromatherapists to be a spiritual up-lifter, and to ease muscle fatigue and stiffness. It is also a purifier of congested, oily and acne prone skin and is sometimes added to creams and lotions as a natural toner and cellulite treatment. Grapefruit Essential Oil is reputed to ease nervous exhaustion and relieve depression.

Blends well with: Grapefruit Pink blends well with other members of the citrus family, Rosemary, Cypress, Lavender, Geranium, Cardamom and generally most spice oils.

Aromatic Scent: Grapefruit Pink Essential Oil has a fresh, sweet citrus smell that is very characteristic of the fruit.

History: The differences between the White and Pink Grapefruits are minor. The difference in cost is simply an example of supply and demand; there is more pink grapefruit produced because it is sweeter than the white variety.

Cautions: Grapefruit Essential Oil can cause photosensitivity. Avoid use during pregnancy.

What a fresh scent this is!! I was expecting greatness from ND's EO, but in fact, this EO should be classified as 'excellent'! I added it to the Orange/Ginger FO for a delicious scent...my new home scent! Love it!

Wow! I did NOT think I'd really be into grapefruit, but I ran out of this one faster than any of my other EOs, even though the smallest size it came in when I ordered it was still bigger than practically any other EO bottle I ordered. I've found that almost everyone LOVES the smell of grapefruit, even people who are incredibly picky about fragrance. In fact, on a video I was watching about attracting the opposite sex, I saw that men find the grapefruit scent particularly enticing. Grapefruit is not so sweet, like orange for example, that it couldn't be used in men's fragrances as well. But it smells great on its own or in a mixture. The scent isn't too strong, so I find that it doesn't need to be diluted.

I usually blend this with Bergamot in CP soap but have been adding it to just about everything lately. The scent is such a pick me up and just makes the whole house smell fresh and clean. It smells like a just peeled grapefruit and makes my mouth pucker every time i crack the bottle. Great scent and is fantastic blended with other citrus oils.

Smells like grapefruit, like it should! I used it in pink grapefruit lip balm which I colored with alkanet root and am quite pleased with. Note that the oil does evaporate quickly, especially in something warm like lip balm.

I love anything grapefruit! This is a great EO but I wish the scent was a bit stronger. I guess that can't really be helped with an EO? Don't want to use too much as citrus EO's do cause photosensitivity. Still a very nice light scent to CP soap. The lip balm is also 2-die-4!!

Unmistakable grapefruit fragrance. I love this in a diffuser for a fresh, energizing pick me up. Mixed with orange 5-fold EO and tangerine EO for an air freshener for my husband's car. He loves it for his commute to work.

Update.... scent holds up good in cp soaps. I did wrap them in cello bags with holes punched in them to allow them to cure but not be exposed to complete air. A new favorite in our products.

This is one of my favorite EO's (I have about 3 favorites that I each love the same). I use it solely in cold process soap, and as long as I box them up after they cure, it holds very well. This is one of my top requested soap products from friends and family.

This grafefruit essential oil would receive a 5* rating if it weren't for the metal bottle (probably aluminum) which gives it a slightly metallic aluminum-like odor. I prefer that it were in a glass bottle because I fear that the essential oils corrode the metal and contaminate the oil, and hence is why it has the metallic odor. I will pour the oil into a large glass bottle, or several smaller bottles ASAP, and not use it on my skin. Although the cap appeared to be on tightly, and the seal apparently unbroken, the bottle leaked in the box. I'm not sure how high the fill level was initially, but it is now more than 3 inches below the top of the bottle.

Wonderful citrus joy in a bottle! The smell is enough to make your mouth water. I use it in my diffuser whenever I need a pick-me-up. I also use it in my shampoos and my clients love it! Great price again ND!

This is a really refreshing scent. It's just a little sweet, not too bitter and also has a beautiful pink grapefruit colour. I use it in soap with just a little paprika to boost the colour. The price is reasonable. This product is very popular with my customers.

Really fresh and vibrant in the kitchen for a floor cleaner or a counter spray, or for an energizing toner spray for your face. Definitely pink, it's a little sweet -right on the nose for a pink (not white) grapefruit. Very versatile, I'm going through it quickly!

This is a wonderful smelling EO, we just created our Super Shea Bar and mixed Ylang Ylang and Pink Grapefuit EO together. I was like a kid in the candy store, I could not wait for the soap to come out the mold the next morning. Fresh, uplifting, incredible, fresh, tangy, etc. You get the idea! Grapefruit Pink is a nice light scent that can stand alone or be mixed readily with something else. I bought this as a suggestion from someone, and I am very glad that I decided to purchase this. Typically wonderful citrus odor. VERY interesting when blended with a little galbanum or fennel, and lovely when it comes to caring for troubled skins, as grapefruit is not photo-toxic like most other citrus oils.

One of my favs!! I mix it with vanilla 5 fold and add it to perfumers alcohol (hopefully one day NDA will carry, hint hint = ) I get so many compliments on my perfume. Grapefruit is also said to make the wearer appear 7yrs younger!

A Fabulous scent! Very refreshing and like a burst of citrus at first but softens down almost to a bergamot. I would love to try this with a woodsy base to add a little sweetness. I will never buy Pink Grapefruit from anywhere else after smelling this one!!! What an AMAZINGLY wonderful Pink Grapefruit! It is sweet, yet not too sweet, with just enough of that sharp citrus scent. It is truly awesome in everything, bubble bath, shower gel, and lotions. This will be a staple in my home from now on-GREAT scent with wonderful uplifting/healing properties......I put some in a spray bottle with water and it is revitalizing and refreshing in my home ..... I am also using it to fight ear infections (behind the ear) on my boy friend who has chronic ear infections. I live in the Pacific North West and this is bringing Summer into our cold dark Winter days!

Wonderful product. Works great with Key Lime EO and Blood Orange mixed in an oil base for a fragrance oil. Just a few tiny drops in the base and you are good to go :) Excellent quality!

This scent is perfect for masculine or feminine fragrances. If you've designed a base and middle formulation that is earthy, then this will liven up the top notes. I like woodsy/earthy foundations for men with a faint floral and forest background. I have all that, so I was looking for something that would top it all off, but that wasn't an overdone orange. This Grapefruit Pink provided me with the scent I was looking for that starts off like a grove and ends in a forest. At this price you can't go wrong.

A little sweeter and not quite as bitter as the White Grapefruit EO but still just as wonderful. True to it's name and description. Very well done. My problem will be choosing between the 2 scents to see which I like better.

This is one of my favorite oils. I love the smell!! It smells so refreshing! I put it in everything! Mix it with a few other citrus EOs, and you have a sanitary, bacteria-fighting bathroom spray. I use it the same way I use Lemon oil. It removes the stickers that come on everything and removes dirt better than any windex or Fantastic.

MMMMMMMM.....I never knew grapefruits could smell so good! Very bright and sparkly-scented, a little goes a long way--it's well worth it to pick up this oil, and the fragrance lingers quite a while

I just love grapefruit to begin with. It's so clean. I love this oil. I've had a lot of luck blending it with masculine scents like woody scents and spices. It sweetens them up without losing the masculine feel. I'm also using this in cleaning products.
