Description: Guar Gum is derived from the ground endosperm of the guar plant, Cyanmopsis tetragonolobus belonging to the family Leguminosae. The guar plant is mainly grown in India and Pakistan from the month of July to December. At harvest time, the seeds are extracted from the pod of the plant and then ground into guar gum.
Guar Gum is water soluble. The best way to add Guar Gum to mixture is with separated additions of small quantities of the Guar Gum. Be sure to stir for while after each addition. If Guar Gum is added too quickly or in large quantities, it will gel or clump together.
Guar Gum works well in mixtures that freeze but not in extreme heat or in pH (above pH8 or below pH5).
Do not use if your formula contains Borax or Calcium.

Have your shower base and it is wonderful, but added FO/EO thinned out way too much, Got the Gur Gum and this have shot my sales thru the roof....It makes all the difference in the world so rich and thick and feels great Thanks again ND you have made me a hit again

Great packaging, very easy to use. I was astounded at this products ability to thicken my natural shampoo where others had failed miserably. Guar also adds a nice conditioning effect as well. Highly recommend.
