Botanical Name: Cannabis sativa

Extraction Method: Cold Pressed

Description: Hempseed Carrier Oil is high in Omega fatty acids and proteins. It is a fantastic cosmetic grade oil due to its nutrients, though the illegal Cannabis association tends to reduce its popularity. It is currently being more readily explored by progressive manufacturers.

Color: Golden yellow liquid to dark brown.

Aromatic Description: Being unrefined, Hempseed Oil has been left in its virgin state after pressing. This oil has not been run through filters or chemical processes, so stronger colors and fragrances should be expected. This is completely natural.

Common Uses: Hempseed Carrier Oil is becoming a popular manufacturing oil, though only through pioneers in the cosmetic field.

Consistency: Typical and Characteristic of Carrier Oils.

Absorption: Absorbs into skin at average speed, slight oil feeling left on skin.

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 1 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.

The Alpha And Omega of oils! Hemp oil uses are only limited to your imagination. A MUST EXPERIENCE! Indispensable additive included in ALL my formulations. A must have for all those suffering from eczema. I have seen results that only can be described as miraculous. The ability of this oil to promote new skin growth..incredible! Wounds, small cuts, abrasions, insect bites, etc...helps them all, many times without scab formation. Their are no type of skin it is not useful, from infant to the aging. A friend experienced a motor cycle accident losing 1st and 2nd layers of epidermis. After two to three daily applications saw his skin return to normal without any noticeable scarring. I absolutely love this oil. I use it in almost everything. I infuse the oil with calendula flowers and rose petals as a base for my healing creams and lip balms and I also use it directly on my hair. I'm 37 and I started using it in my hair about 3 months ago and it has grown almost 6 inches!!! A little goes a long way in the hair though, so too much will give you a "wet look" all day.

I love getting this oil from NDA. Their price is amazing! I prefer unrefined over refined cause it leaves a lovely green tint to my creams and lends a helping hand to my green colored soaps. Plus when I think hemp oil I think green! This oil is thicker and is wonderful in heavy creams and whipped mousses. It does have a nutty almost fresh cut grass smell to it but I've never had a problem covering the scent! This oil does wonders for the skin! I completely recommend this oil to anyone considering it!

Love it the smell isnt overpowering to me. I use it in my hair products. Especially once you add your fragrance you wont smell anything but the fragrance. It is def unrefined because it isnt filtered

Definitely unrefined! Has a wonderful earthy smell with a slight to medium combination of the “Mary Jane’ smell…not overpowering, but you can definitely smell it. beautiful color and I put a few drops in my astringent with a good shake, because it is kind of heavy, but it didn’t make my face oily at all (I have very oily skin). My mouth dropped at the size of the bottle. I said to myself, “this is huge and for this inexpensive price…” Not bad in lotions either. Thanks NDA!

Nice, definitely unrefined, oil. Very dark in color. Looks black in the bottle. This is a good thing! Most definitely has a marijuana Mary smell to it. Not *that* heavy, but it's there. I like the smell. Nice and earthy, deep. Have used it on my face tonight to see how well it works just overnight. Will definitely be using quite a bit of this. Glad I ordered a fair bit.

I use this unrefined hemp oil in many of my massage blends and healing creams. It is an amazing healing agent and skin just loves it. It is also absolutely amazing on natural wood furniture. I love the way this oil smells and looks. The scent is very earthy, nutty, and as green as the oil iteself. Is green a scent? If it was, this is exactly how I would imagine green would smell. I especially love this oil blended with patchouli EO, a touch of lemon EO, and amber resin. This oil absorbs very well into the skin, and leaves it feeling silky, glowing, and supple. Very nice...and as always, NDA has a great competitive price on this oil.

I love the dark color of this unrefined hemp seed oil, and I couldn't find a better price than NDA anywhere else. I use this in cold process soaps, and customers love the way it feels on their skin - very conditioning. The unrefined hemp will give your soap a greenish tint, which I like for some of bars. I buy the refined hemp when I don't want the green coloration.

Unrefined oils like this one can add fun natural colors to CP soaps when used in large quantities. I like the smell -- it's nutty and deep, very earthy.

I like using this.. Works great in soaps and in lotion. Very soothing. The scent isn't too bad, a bit of lawn grass mixed with cannibas smell. I don't find it offensive or overwhelming. Very healing.

Hempseed oil is one of my favorite carrier oil from newdirecions. Althogh, it doesn't have a plesant smell, it works amazing !! when my face was so itchy and irritated, nothing really makes my face calming down.. I can't even sleep well for few days, because I felt so each all over my face. At that time, My face look like that I'm suffer from eczema. but i'm not ! Nomally i have beautiful skin. Anyway, I found Hemp oil has powrful anti-inflammatory property so I tried to use Hemp seed oil with few drops of Germanl Chamomile Eseential oil . And after 2days, My skin went back to normal !!! This oil really working great !! I use hemp oil in my soap, my skin care product, lip balm, foot lotion etc... I highly recommend hemp seed oil for someone who suffer from eczema.

I LOVE this oil! Hemp is a great oil that doesn't get the recognition it deserves. I use this to make my hemp soap and people LOVE it!! I also use this for hot oil hair treatments and on my daughter's skin after a sun burn. It's a very nourishing, healing oil imo.
