Description: Honey powder is natural honey that has been spray dried into a fine powder.
Honey is reputed to have antiseptic and antibacterial properties and can be used to treat a variety of ailments such as cuts, wounds and burns. Its antiseptic properties inhibits the growth of certain bacteria and helps keep external wounds clean and free from infection. As such Honey Powder can be used as part of balms or healing salve.
Honey Powder is said to have anti-aging properties. Honey is a humectant, having the ability attract and retain moisture, and to rebuild the moisture level in the skin without making it oily. Therefore, it can be used as a skin softener and in anti-aging products.
Appearance: White Powder
Application: Use honey powder in your creams, lotions, soaps, scrubs, facials, masks, body wraps, bath teas, milk baths, bath salts and bath bombs.
Solubility: Good solubility in water solution.
Shelf Life: 1 year with proper Storage (store in well closed container away from moisture).
Please Note: Honey powder can absorb moisture when exposed to air. If it hardens, a food processor can be used.

I just tried the honey powder in one of my soap recipes. I replaced the regular honey from the grocery store and I am very pleased with the results.

I love this! I've seen honey powder elsewhere, but they always have additives like maltodextrin... I add this to toners, masks, cleansers, anywhere I would use honey- but without the stickiness!
