Kind Regards,

Honey Powder

RatingRatingRatingRatingRating
Average Product Rating: 4.2 / 5 (Based on 21 Customer Reviews)

Honey Powder is made from natural honey that has been spray- dried into a fine white to pale yellow powder. Honey is reputed to have antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties and has been used to treat a variety of ailments such as cuts, wounds and burns. Its antiseptic properties help to keep external wounds clean and free from infection. Because of these properties, Honey Powder can be used in balms or healing salves.

Honey Powder is also said to have anti-aging properties. It is a humectant, having the ability to attract and retain moisture, and to increase the amount of moisture in the skin without making it oily; hence, it can be used as a skin softener and in anti-aging products.

INCI: Honey Powder

Applications: Honey Powder can be used to manufacture creams, lotions, soaps, scrubs, facials, masks, body wraps, bath teas, milk baths, bath salts and bath bombs.

Solubility: Honey Powder has good solubility in water solution. To rehydrate, the extract ratio is 25 to 1. Use 1 g of honey powder with 25 ml of water.

Shelf Life: Honey Powder has a shelf-life of 3 years with proper storage (store in an air-tight container away from moisture). It is hygroscopic, so a packet of silica gel will help to prevent it from absorbing moisture and resultant hardening. If it does harden, a food processor can be used to bring it back into powder form.

As others said, was solid in package before opening, so I haven't used in product yet.

I have not even opened the bag but it is already one solid piece.

I bought a sample size of this, hoping I could use it in my bath soak blends. I was able to use it for one trial batch before it became completely solid. After opening it, I transferred the remaining powder to an airtight container. After just one day it was a solid block of honey. I live in the northeast and humidity in the winter is not a problem. I think that the idea of this product is great, but that it may need a bit of work.

This came very well packaged in a plastic bag inside a sealed foil pouch, and I can understand why. With the southeast Texas summer humidity, it started getting sticky immediately after I opened the package. I was able to use it in one batch of bath salts before it completely solidified into a rock hard mass. I see that most others haven't had trouble with it, so I guess the humidity where I live must be pretty intense!

I finally tried this and I'm soooo glad! I've used it for face & body scrubs. It's so much better than honey! Lol not near as messy either. I'm very glad NDA offers this. I will continue getting product from them. I've been very pleased with everything I've used so far.

This stuff is pretty good. 100 grams is way more than I thought it would be. I do wish it came packaged differently. I would pay more to get it in a container instead of a bag.

The honey powder came sealed in an outer mylar envelope and double zip-lock bags inside. It has the consistency of fine sand and no pronounced honey odor. I see how this could be messy if the powder were allowed to rehydrate, so thanks for the cautious packaging. I'm using it now as a soothing, adhesive anti-bacterial in treating a "hot-spot" outbreak on our dog who is allergic to cat fleas. So far the results are encouraging. The quality of your honey powder is impressive. Thanks for a great product!

A nice sweet scent! I love this for its skin soothing and antibacterial properties! Keep well protected from moisture though, as I had not stored it properly once, and when I went to use it, it had turned into a hard brick! Lol, now I know better!

I love this product. It sure beats adding sticky honey to my products, and being left feeling sticky. A great way to add a natural humectant to products for all skin types. Thanks!

I love this! I've seen honey powder elsewhere, but they always have additives like maltodextrin... I add this to toners, masks, cleansers, anywhere I would use honey- but without the stickiness!
