Incense Sticks Unfragranced

Composition: Bamboo stick, wood powder and natural bond.
Our Incense Sticks are completely unfragranced, are approximately 12” long, and come bags of 600. Each stick has approximately a 50 to 60 minute burn time.
Historically, Incense Sticks have been associated with meditation and spirituality. It is believed that burning them relieves tension, stress, and brings about a more alert, creative state of consciousness.
To make your own incense sticks we recommend completely submerging the plain incense sticks into your fragrance of choice for a minimum of 6 hours, with best results coming if submerged for 24 hours. The wet sticks should then be allowed 2 to 4 days for drying and curing.
Terms of Use

I am super excited at the prospect of dipping my own incense sticks, but I did not expect them to be so HUGE. These sticks are too long for my burner and it appears I will need a large quantity of oil to soak them in. Despite those small hurdles, I am happy with my purchase and excited to try them out.

I love this product!! It is very easy to make these and I had no problems using Fragrant oils instead of Essential oils. They smell great!

I've had great success steeping the sticks in a straight walled flask in pure essential oils for 24 hours. Then drain and dry. I then steep incense cones in the remaining essential oil. This makes 100% essential oil incense cost effective.

I LOVE this item! I have had SO MUCH FUN trying new mixes of Essential Oils to soak them in! Be sure you are using REAL EOs from New Directions though or your incense will smell like burining plastic! I only trust New Directions to deliver PURE Essential Oil to me! These sticks are pretty long - I have cut the non burning end down some to make them more to what I consider to be the normal length, but having it longer in the beginning while I am making the sticks has been helpful! I gave a lot of incense away for the holidays and had fun packaging the sticks in the tissue paper that they sell on this site as well! It just seemed so much more personal and better for the environment than the regular plastic bags others use. At this price I will be going through the sticks like lightening lol I cant wait to keep trying new scents! Thanks ND for offering this fun and very marketable item!
