Botanical Name: Simmondsia chinensis

Extraction Method: Cold Pressed

Description: Jojoba Golden is a favorite carrier oil. Our Jojoba golden carrier oil is GMO free. In actuality, it is a liquid wax. It closely resembles the sebum of the skin, and is rich in vitamin E. This promotes a glowing complexion. The Golden variety of Jojoba may alter color and odors in cosmetics. It is also important to note that Jojoba may go cloudy in cool temperatures. It will return to its clear state with warming. Purchases of entire drums can also expect some clouding near the end of the drum. This is natural as Phospholipids (natural components of most vegetable oils) hydrate and precipitate out of suspension. The sediment is actually extremely high in beneficial vitamin E and will only create problems if the oil is heated to extreme temperatures where they will darken and precipitate out of suspension. Any sediment can be decanted out wherever practical.

Color: Golden to brownish yellow liquid wax.

Aromatic Description: Jojoba Golden Carrier Oil has a pleasant, soft odor.

Common Uses: Jojoba Golden Carrier Oil can be added to other carrier oils in order to extend shelf lives, and has become a common oil in the aromatherapy industries because of it's excellent skin care properties. The golden variety of Jojoba is less desired in cosmetic manufacturing; nonetheless, in applications that aren't sensitive to discoloration or odor, Golden Jojoba is still commonly used. Massage therapists may use small amounts in their carrier oil blends, but as it will clog pores, its application is limited.

Consistency: Typical and Characteristic of Carrier Oils.

Absorption: Jojoba Golden creates a barrier but will leave a satiny finish.

Shelf Life: Jojoba Golden has 2 years of shelf life for all intents and purposes. It may go cloudy in cool conditions but will return to its natural state once warmed.

Jojoba Golden is one of my favorites carrier oils. Exemplary as a moisturizer as it penetrates skin very rapidly. Jojoba is a excellent source for nourishing all skin types and will soften skin without leaving an oily "after feel". I use Jojoba in all my skin conditioning formulas. Excellent choice for all skin head to toe. I recommend dilutions (8-10%). An essential oil for those with mature, dry, sensitive skin and those suffering from chronic skin disorders. This is the one oil you should never be without.

This is my go to, absolutely must have at all times, never want to be out oil. I use it for everything from conditioning my hair to mixing essential oils. Almost every product I produce for my line has this Jojoba oil in it. The golden color is wonderful, and the very very light aroma gives it an earthy quality. I have not found this level of quality at such a decent price anywhere but here. Great job ND!

I love this oil. I tried this as a moisturizer for my face and my skin is loving it. It in no way makes my face oily, in fact it works better than any store bought moisturizer I have ever used. My make up just goes on perfectly and looks so smooth. I also use this with salt as a scrub and it leaves skin amazingly smooth. I couldn't keep my hands off of my skin.

I've tried a number of jojoba oils and I truly like this one. The scent and color are no problem in my creams and lotions. It is terrific for skin, very effective with a nice slide to the feel. And it's a great price!

This oil is outstanding, I added to my Almond oil (which I use everyday as a body moisturizer)because I was running low, and now I'm totally hooked on the Jojoba Golden as well as the Almond oil. So I can't live without either of them, and I'm looking forward to trying other carrier oils, I wonder if each one is going leave me addicted !?!

My family and I just absolutley LOVE this Jojoba Golden oil. I mix it in my lotions and use it in my facial creams and our skin has never been softer. This is amazing stuff. My mom has had dry skin for what seems to be eternity and nothing has helped with her flakes until I made her some lotion and mixed it with this Jojoba. My skin is no longer dry and flakey either.
