My first attempt at making a lotion and it turned out to be easy and popular. The lanette wax created a creamy and smooth lotion that absorbed quickly (something clients really like). I intend to try using it in a cream base. I have always used beeswax before and it can be tricky to keep it smooth and is much slower to absorb. I still like beeswax for salves and balms but lanette wax is what I will use for making future lotions and creams. If you need a recipe purchase "The Creamy Craft of Cosmetic Making" from the books here at New Directions...good recipes.
