I like to add a few drops of oil to my hot tub. I have tried many different lavender fragrances and found that the South African lavender to be just right--sweet, floral, pleasant. The aroma of this lavendar enhances the relaxation acheived in my hot tub sessions.

I actually found this lavender to smell a bit more musky than the Barreme---not at all what I was expecting given the prior reviews.

Very nice and sweet. All lavenders seem to work about the same so I give this a definite thumbs up if you prefer less astringent smelling lavender. I love the fact that it such a useful, beautiful smelling little herb!!!

I've always loved Lavender to create a relaxing atmosphere. I thought it had to be bitter to be lavender. This one is actually sweeter than what I'm used to, and I really like it! It compliments so many of my blends, and I've loved using the suggested blends on the site. I'm using it in cleaning products, the shampoo, conditioner, and the bath salts.
