Description:
Lavender is an evergreen woody shrub, up to 1 meter tall, with pale green, narrow linear leaves and violet blue flowers. The scent of Lavender flowers is said to have a calming effect on the body and it can be used to reduce anxiety, stress and promote sleep.
Plant Part Used: Flowers Color: 50/50 blend of 50% periwinkle blue and 50% gray/blue color. Scent: Mild Lavender scent with a hint of green. Common Uses: These Lavender Flowers are perfect additions to both hot and cold process soap making, bath fizzies and potpourri. An excellent blend for sachets when color isn't an issue.
As with all manufacturing processes, New Directions Aromatics Recommends that small, lab scale production be conducted prior to any commercial runs.

These flowers are beautiful and add so much character to our soap. They also add depth to the fragrance and a tiny bit of lavender color. An excellent product!
