Description: Lavender Maillette is a hybrid of true Lavender. Mainly grown in Eastern Europe, these plants are distinguished by a very intense and persistent blue color.
Color: Clear to Pale Yellow
Common Uses: Lavender is widely used in aromatherapy and in the perfumery industry. The scent has a calming effect which aids in relaxation and the reduction of stress & anxiety. It is reputed to have antiseptic and analgesic properties which will ease the pain of a burn, prevent infection and promotes rapid healing. It can be used with massages oil.

History: The name Lavender comes from the Latin lavare which means "to wash." Historically, the Romans have added Lavender to their bath water for its scent as well as its antiseptic quality.
