Description: Lavender Mont Blanc is an evergreen woody shrub, up to 1 meter tall, with pale green, narrow linear leaves and violet blue flowers.

Color: Pale yellow to yellow liquid.

Common Uses: Properties of Lavender Mont Blanc Essential Oil include analgesic, anti-convulsive, anti-depressant, anti-phlogistic, antirheumatic, antseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, bactericide, carminative, cholagogue, cicatrisant, cordial, cytophylactic, decongestant, deodorant, and as a diuretic The scent of Lavender is said to have a calming effect on the body and it can be used to reduce anxiety, stress and promote sleep. Produced in the high altitude of Mont Blanc, this Lavender is unique in its full bodied and earthy aroma, appreciated by true lovers of Lavender. It should be noted that Lavender Mont Blanc is a very therapeutic grade comparable in status to the better-known Lavender Population. The different soil, temperature, precipitation, etc. contributes to some subtle changes in scent, the greatest advantage being for more sophisticated label claims.

Aromatic Scent: Lavender Mont Blanc is very similar in scent to the more common Lavender Population. Due to the different growing conditions (altitude, soil conditions, sun exposure, and access to water) practitioners can expect this oil to provide some subtle differences in tone.

History: The Mont Blanc Massif, composed of Mont Blanc (15,536) the highest peak in Western Europe is rich in alpine history and in the unique lavender that grows there.

This is lovely! I have always thought I didn't especially care for the smell of lavender, but this EO has shown me the truth. I tried it out by putting a couple of drops in a tea light, and it's beautiful. Very fresh, but it also had an incredibly pretty softness after some time. I feel amazingly clean just smelling it. It's almost uplifting. I also put a few drops in a facial moisturizer last night, and the few spots I had have already shrunken, after one overnight application.

I love this lavender most of all lavenders in one of my lotions. My customers that are not fans of typical EO's love this scent, as do the ones who do love EO's. In my formula, the scent is not overpowering, and doesn't last forever long, which is the goal for me, for it not to interfere with one's cologne too much. And yes, I agree, very therapeutic in any quantity, mixed or neat.

Very therapeutic lavender. One of my clients received a reflexology treatment. She was having trouble sleeping at night. At the end of our session, I massaged a few drops of this oil into her toes and the soles of her feet. She called me up the next day, to say that she had a wonderful sleep that night. I have used other lavenders, including the Bulgarian; the mont balnc seems to the best .

I love lavender, as most know it is the 'mother' of all essential oils. This is a much more subtle Lavender, yet still very effective. Great for those that dont really like scents... especially the overpowering. I take care of my mom and most her life not liked any kind of overpowering smell. I have been able to use lavender on her and it has helped her in many areas. I really enjoy the variety of lavender at NDA as well as other oils... I still wonder what the differences are? Thanks

This is my second favorite lavender (behind the Bulgarian). Lovely, floral, fresh scent, not as rich as the Bulgarian (I tend to like my scents pretty strong!).

I love to put a few drops in a tea light and then light the candle. It diffuses the scent nicely. This is a great base to mix with others, one of my favorites is lemon.

One of my favorite of all the Lavender oils besides Lavender 40/42 also. I like to use this one neat, a few drops on my wrists before going out. Also great neat after-shower as I like to take a few drops to rub into my neck-and-shoulders. Wonderful ! Can't go without it.

My daughter has exzema that wakes her up some nights. The lavender applied neat seems to take the itch away as she soon returns to sleep. I also find the scent diffused in her room at night really relaxes her.

I love lavender scent! I bought a big bottle of this Lavender Mont Blanc essential oil and it is a very good quality product. I like to put 1 to 2 drops of it mixing with my facial cream each night before going to bed. It is so relaxing!

Very nice lavender, sweet and flowery. Tried it on my burn neat and it took away the pain almost instantly and I think helped with the healing.
