Description: Lemongrass is a fast growing, tall, aromatic perennial grass that grows up to 1.5 metres (4 feet) in height. It is native to Asia, but is now cultivated mostly in the West Indies, Africa, and Tropical Asia.

Color: Yellow to brownish yellow liquid.

Common Uses: Lemongrass Essential Oil is known for its invigorating and antiseptic properties. It can be used in facial toners as its astringent properties help fight acne and greasy skin. An excellent anti-depressant, Lemongrass Essential Oil tones and fortifies the nervous system and can be used in bath for soothing muscular nerves and pain. Lemongrass shares similar properties with citronella and has a great reputation for keeping insects away.

Blends well with: Pine, Thyme, Lavender, Rosemary, Marjoram, Cedarwood and Lemon.

Aromatic Scent: Lemongrass Essential Oil has a fresh earthy, citrusy scent.

History: Traditional Indian medicine has used Lemongrass Essential Oil to treat infectious illness and fever.

Cautions: Avoid in glaucoma and with children. Use caution in prostatic hyperplasia and with skin hypersensitivity or damaged skin. Avoid use during pregnancy.
It is recommended that this essential oil be stored in dark amber, blue or green glass bottles since it has been found to dissolve aluminum bottles.

I've purchased Lemongrass EO from other sources and must admit that NDA is by far the best scent. I love the pure and fresh lemon aroma without a 'chemically' scent. I will certainly be purchasing it from NDA again.

I bought this a while ago to keep my cats off the counters. What a wonderful fragrance! Makes my kitchen smell so fresh and clean! PLUS the kitties' stay off the counter tops~two good things for the price of one. I'll buy this again~

I use this Lemongrass EO in my bug off spray, hand scrub and in a few cleaning products I make just for me. As others have said - a little does go a long way. It is one of the most lovely and uplifting lemon scents around. I like to use it in a diffuser with a little thyme when someone isn't feeling well. Works great every time.

I purchased this and was delighted with the fresh lemony scent. Used it in a facial scrub and it smells just like a treatment you would get at an expensive spa. Looking forward to trying this in body lotion and massage oils. A great unisex fragrance . . . definitely a winner in my book!

I had been buying lemongrass EO from another company at $15 for a half ounce. I bought your 3.3 ounce bottle and can't tell the difference, I will be buying my oils from you in the future and saving money! This oil smells just like fresh lemongrass, very fresh and lemony. It's great in candles, soap, and massage oil (it's helpful for carpal tunnel pain), and also repels insects, I mix it with lavender and peppermint to make a bug spray for my dairy goats.

This lemongrass eo smells very lemony with a touch of green. I mixed it with ginger eo, and when I have guests over and they want to sample smell my cp soap. They immediately ask about it. It stays nice and strong even when left out on the shelf for months. Very nice eo to have around. Can easily be used alone also in products.

I bought this one for its therapeutic value. Wonderful smell. I cannot wait to try it in my products. I also am looking forward to vapouring it in my premium ultrasonic nebulizer (which I bought from NDA) so that I can set it on dispersing the EO on intervals.

This e/o is super potent compared to other brands I've tried, and has a wonderful fresh lemony smell with a the perfect balance of green grass scent, that has made it one my most popular HP soaps. I've had reports back that it stops dandruff and dry scalp within days, excellent for using in soaps or shampoos on the hair!

Well, I just made a batch of cp soap with this oil for the first time, and I wish I had read the other reviews first... Let me say, that this eo has a gorgeous fragrance -- very lemony, and very sweet. However, I am afraid that I used too much of a good thing. I'm hoping once my soap cures for a few days and is cut up into bars, it will be less overpowering, but for now I'm worried that all my friends and family who are receiving this soap for Christmas are going to find it too strong... Oh well, what's done is done! Also, I put this in with lavender, and if I try hard enough, I can imagine the smell of lavender in there with the lemongrass. Yeah, it's totally overpowering!

I previously posted that this scent was a bit too strong for me however after letting the body butter that I used it in sit for a few days, the scent is divine. It did overpower the lavender EO that I mixed it with but that isn't a big deal. I will just cut out the lavender. Scent lasts all day! I love it.

NDA always comes through with superlative products! The lemongrass is no exception, with a strong, clean, lasting scent that works well in cleaning products as well as in soaps. A very invigorating scent. Lovely in soy candles with litsea cubeba and cedarwood. Mmmm!

MMMM.....Lemongrass. I use this oil in most of my cp soaps. My customers love it just as much as I do. Smells so fresh. A little goes a long way in cp soaps.

I use Lemongrass essential oil to perfume my Seaweed soap (about 3 Oz of it for a 5 pounds batch of soap) and the smell it very invigorating. You still smell the seaweed in the background but it is now compounding with the Lemongrass to give an attractive smell. Very nice smell. My family and customers love it.

I use this EO in shampoo, conditioner and in body lotion. It is a wonderful scent and a little goes a long long way. This EO mixed with lavender EO is now my signature scent in my store Beadle. Customers love it and it helps me sell the oils and scent balls. Only one word of caution you will want to buy a large bottle because it is highly addictive. _3

Hummm, I have purchased this eo from other suppliers and this one isn't quite as I had hoped. It has a middle note that I'm not sure I like. But as I have read from other reviewers it is suggested to dilute. So perhaps it will be more lovely then. I am optimistic! And with ND's prices I am overall pleased!

I am in agreement with other reviewers that this oil should be used sparingly because it can overpower other scents. However, it has a wonderful aroma! It is very earthy and herbal as well as being refreshing and uplifting.

I use lemongrass in my massage business. I haven't found one client that dislikes the smell, infact they ask for it to be used during thier massage. It helps to relax tight muscles making my job as a massage therapist a lot easier. The smell is so clean,uplifting & energizing.

Deep, rich, lemony-sweet scent. I found it to be very strong in blends (it tends to overpower other scents, which I wasn't expecting since plain old lemon doesn't do that). Once I figured out to use it sparingly, I've found it great for insect repellant and air fresheners.

I love my lemongrass in the morning! At first the smell is overpowering and almost unpleasant, but then comes the mild, delicious after-smell! Once mixed with a carrier its all mild and pleasant, and so uplifting! Perfect for morning massage or linen sprays.

I am just SOOO in love with this oil . It has such a sweet-lemony, soothing smell .Very relaxing but rejuvenating at the same time... if that didn't make sense ,you gotta try it to understand!!! And i assure you won't be disappointed. I mix with mandarin or sweet orange essential oils and use it in my melt and pour soaps and salt/ sugar scrubs . It smells good enough to eat!!! lol . The scent fills the whole bathroom after each use! Great quality, great price! A MUST HAVE!

Love this oil, and use mainly for insect repellant and scenting body wash. Can also be Used for infections, headaches, sore throats, respiratory problems, fevers; as a tonic, and antiseptic. Good quality, great price.
