Description: Occurs as one of the main content in Indian Basil Oil (18-22%), be produce by fractional distillation of oil. Appearance Colorless liquid - Odor Flowery fresh odor, reminiscent of Lily of valley Linalool is one of the most frequently used fragrance and perfumery substance and is produced in large quantity. Because of its relatively high volatility it imparts naturalness to top notes. Since, Linalool is alkali-stable, it can be applied in soaps and detergents. Linalyl esters can be prepared from Linalool.
