Botanical Name: Mangifera Indica

Appearance: Fine creamy yellow powder.

Mango is a member of the cashew family and is reputed to be extremely high in Vitamin A, C and Beta Carotine. It is often used in formulations to prevent the formation of wrinkles and the drying of skin. By preventing the degeneration of skin cells, flexibility of the skin is restored.
The recommended usage rate should not exceed 0.5% of the weight of the final product.

I bought this product to put in my CP mango butter soap. I wasn't sure if it would work but, the soap turned out lovely. I added this powder to a small portion of my soap at trace and then swirled it in. The mango powder added a lovely natural color to the soap.

My first respose upon opening the container was ..."this doesn't smell like mango :(" a mishap with my mother spilling some and having to wash it off revealed a pleasant surprise. The scent activates when it's wet ! I mixed it in with a little of my regular deep treatment for my hair and the smell was divine it masked the scent of the tea tree oil and my hair has more bounce and shine. Very nice fine yellow/orange powder and I love the fact that it's a natural source of vitamins A & E which do wonders for skin and hair

This smells out of this world...a tropical vacation for your skin. I mixed it with papaya and a bit of yogart with rosehip oil. I felt like I was at a resort till it was time to wash it off..lol..but it's a mini vacation I look forward to taking. Makes your skin look as if you've taken a real vacation. LOVE IT.

Great packaging! Yum!!! This stuff is lucious. Very fragrant and wonderful additive for masks and peels as well as many other applications. Usage rates and suggestions would be a welcome addition to the description.
