Mango Butter

Botanical Name: Mangifera Indica
INCI Name: Mangifera Indica Seed Butter
Description:
This exotic butter is extracted from the seeds of the tropical fruit tree – Manifera Indica (Mango) and comes directly from India. Our Mango butter has a white appearance and a slight, fatty scent. It has excellent moisturizing properties with high antioxidants content, and is believe to protect against UV radiation. Mango Butter has natural emollient properties, and is reputed to be useful for treating burns, stretch marks, scar reduction, wound healing and skin regeneration – smoothing of wrinkles.
Mango butter is great for use in body/lip balms – it melts at skin temperatures, or in soaps and lotions. It also reduce the drying effects of soaps and cleansers.
It should be stored in a cool dark place out of direct sunlight and has a shelf-life of approximately 2 years when stored properly.

Recommended Usage:
• Lotions & Creams: 3 – 5 %
• Balms: 5 – 100 %
• Bar Soaps: 3 – 6 %
• Hair Conditioners: 2 – 5 %

This is my second favorite butter. The smell is intoxicating. I could eat it out of the jar! That aside, it is a wonderful moisturizer and in combination with the Mowrah is really ideal for soaps and butters. Can't tell you more than that as I'll give my recipe away but it's definitely worth incorporating into your finer skin care products. Great for lip balm as well. This one comes chunky but is easily broken down and the feel is sheer luxury. Ordered it from another company and was disgusted, it was rancid, not this lovely color and I tried shipping it back. I ended up putting it in my bird feeders this past winter. I keep it refrigerated until use and it is as fresh six months later as the day I got it.

This is a very effective addition to all natural U.V protection formulas. I used it in a facial cream for one of my customers who is extremely sun sensitive. She was totally satisfied and so am I. Great product. P.S.She admitted that she forgot to put some cream on her ears, and they got burnt.

I was very impressed with the product. I used this in my cp process and body butter and saw and received great results. Not only is it a superb skin softener but it help regenerate dry skin and reduce the look of skin blemishes. This was my first time ordering from NDA, I must admit I am very impressed! I will definately order again!

I love Mango butter! I use it in facial products and it has a pleasant odor. It appears grainy, but when heated gently... it disappears. Mango butter has great label appeal as well. Worth every penny!

The consistency of this product is great. It blends well and feels nice even if used alone in a bath or for a lotion bar with shea butter, or by itself with essential oils.
