Description:
Our Melt and Pour Organic Soap Base free from any foam boosters and preservatives. Made from 100% Certified Organic Vegetable Oils, this base contains no alcohol or harmful products to dry your skin!
Glycerin, a natural emollient, draws moisture out of the air to benefit skin health. It cleanses without stripping or upsetting the delicate natural pH balance necessary for soft, healthy skin. And, since we use no heavy animal oils, our soap rinses clean and leaves no soapy film behind. All our soap bases are produced from the highest quality double distilled and deodorized clear coconut oil, forming luxurious lather and sparkling clarity.

Shelf Life: Minimum 1 year from date of purchase.
Caution: When making soaps it is good to remember that the Melt & Pour Bases contain water as part of the formula. So if they are left exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate and the bar of soap will shrink. We would recommend fully wrapping the ENTIRE soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled--this should minimize/eliminate any shrinkage.

This was the first soap I ever made and it made me a believer in melt and pour soap. Didn't want to get into cold soap processing and lye, just wanted easy and organic. My family is chemically sensitive and my sister is allergic to many common/hidden ingredients in food and toiletries. For myself I kept trying one soap after another. They would each work a little while and then, because of middle age and harsh soap chemicals, just become problems. This went on for a period of years until I really grew tired of it. That was the primary instigator for making my own soap. I researched it online and settled on this particular soap and felt confident in the company. I created a recipe for my own facial beauty soap having researched essential oils and butters using this soap. I have used it for two years now, modified my recipe slightly as needed but it never fails. It retains the essential oil, butters and other components beautifully. My secret for keeping it perfect until use? I add the oils and butters as it cools and as soon as its set and room temp. seal each bar in an airtight bag and store in the refrigerator until ready to use. It will be good a year later with no shrinkage or other problems. I won't even try other soaps because I am so happy with this one and my sister who cannot use any kind of soap except mine LOVES IT as much as I DO!

Did not want to get out of the shower. This is by far the Best melt & pour I have ever used. I will never use another. This will go wonderfully with my line or organic based products. I used the Lavendar bolgaria eo While I was making this soap my husbands friend came in and said "this house smells great" I rest my case. You definately need a soap dish that is made to hold this soap. This soap just slips right out of your hand. The lather is unbelieveable. It feels so good on the skin, the water just bubbles off the skin. You guys have created such a wonderful product. Congratulations! and Thank you!

How refreshing to find a high quality organic soap base! So hard to find and now I found the place to get it! Its great to be as environmental and to be as health concious as possible and to do so affordably is a dream come true for me. I love the thought of healthy healing skin care products that are so easy to use and deliver such a fine end product. I love this stuff!

I have been using the organic M&P soap base since it's introduction, and I find it easy to use, long lasting, maintains a lovely colour, holds ingredients in suspension well and takes essential oils and botanicals with no problem. I have started buying and cutting the large blocks and find them very reasonable and easy to cut.
The web site is great, easy to navigate and use, and customer service wonderful.

The smell is great. It's such a natural organic scent found in co-ops and other natural stores. The shade of color is nice and it makes a great soap base.

This organic soap is very mild and has a nice lather. Highly recommended for those with very dry skin, it does not leave the skin tight or flaky. I combine this with honey, oatmeal and olive butter.

The M&P Organic Soap Base is wonderfull!! It is so nice to have the option to purchase an organic soap base, it is supper easy to produce a great soap, it lasts long and is it easy to add essential oils and additional carrier oils. I love this product!!
