Description:
Stephenson Shea Melt and Pour Base is free of all surfactants and propylene glycol. It contains 5% shea butter, and is smooth, creamy, and rich with natural emollient properties. Opaque in color.
Our Melt & Pour Glycerin Soap base is ALL VEGETABLE OIL and contains no alcohol or harmful products to dry your skin! Glycerin, a natural emollient, draws moisture out of the air to benefit skin health. It cleanses without stripping or upsetting the delicate natural pH balance necessary for soft, healthy skin. And, since we use no heavy animal oils, our soap rinses clean and leaves no soapy film behind. All our soap bases are produced from the highest quality double distilled and deodorized clear coconut oil, forming luxurious lather and sparkling clarity.

Ingredients: Purified Water, Glycerin, Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Sorbitol, Shea Butter (5%), Palm Acid, Palm Kernel Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Pentasodium Pentetate, Tetrasodium Etidronate
Shelf Life: Minimum 1 year from date of purchase.
Caution: When making soaps it is good to remember that the Melt & Pour Bases contain water as part of the formula. So if they are left exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate and the bar of soap will shrink. We would recommend fully wrapping the ENTIRE soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled--this should minimize/eliminate any shrinkage.

I really loved how moisturizing this soap is and it has a soft buttery feel to it when its dry. My only complaint is that it doesn't lather much :(

This is my favorite MP base. The bars of soap even have a buttery feel to them when dry. Leaves the skin so soft without any residue feeling. Makes a great facial soap as well. Will be ordering lots of this product in the future. If you have not tried the Shea Butter MP base you are missing out.

Terrifically creamy and moisturizing! I have used this base several times now as well as the organic soap base (also through ND) and my family is thrilled! The soaps I make with this base pleases my family so much (many of them were cynics) that they don't want to use anything else!
