8. Preventive Data:

Spillage: Absorb spills, cover with an inert, non-combustible, inorganic absorbent material, and remove to an approved disposal container. Wash area with soap and water.

Fire: Recommended extinguishing media –CO2, foam, sand and dry chemicals.

Environment: Keep away from drains, surface and ground water.

Storage: Store in cool, dark place in tightly closed container. Keep air contact to minimum.

 

9. First Aid Measures:

Eye contact: Flush with water for at least 15 minutes.

Inhalation: Not applicable.

Ingestion: Non toxic in small doses. For sizable amounts seek medical attention. Effect appear more severe in individuals with kidney problems.

Skin contact: No adverse effects expected. Wash with soap and water if irritation occurs. Seek medical attention if irritation occurs.

None needed under normal conditions. May wear safety glasses and gloves. Slip proof shoes may be worn near spills.
