Reactivity: Stable.
Decomposition: When heated to decomposition produces carbon dioxide and monoxide smoke.
7. Toxicological Properties/Information:
Some individuals may be sensitive and develop contact dermatitis using this product due to the presence of BHT and to some extent mineral oil. Holly oil can also be irritating to the skin and eyes of some individuals.
8. Preventive Data:
Spillage: Absorb spills, cover with an inert, non-combustible, inorganic absorbent material, and remove to an approved disposal container.
Fire: Recommended extinguishing media – water spray, CO2, foam and dry chemicals.
Environment: Keep away from drains, surface and ground water.
Storage: Store in cool, dark place in tightly closed container. Keep air contact to minimum.
9. First Aid Measures:
Eye contact: Flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Contact doctor if irritation continues.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Seek medical advice.
Skin contact: Wash with soap and plenty of water. Contact doctor if irritation continues.
