Echinacea is traditionally used by herbalists to assist in all conditions associated with viral, bacterial and parasitic infestation. It is used to help alleviate respiratory, gastrointestinal and urinary conditions.
Topically it acts as an antiseptic and may be useful in alleviating wounds associated with acne, abscesses and boils.

Common Uses:
Echinacea can be used in ointments, creams, compresses, poultices and liniments.
