Botanical Name: Carica Papaya

Appearance: Fine pale to golden yellow powder.

Papaya Powder is gently refreshing with a sweet, summery fragrance. It is excellent in stabilizing oily skin & working as an exfoliant on dry areas. Papaya also is often used in skin products for the purpose of a natural lift & rejuvenation of the skin. Papaya contains Vitamin A, a property that benefits skin repair through increasing the rate of new cell formation. Vitamin C is also an anti-oxidant with wonderful proteins for smoother, softer skin.
The recommended usage rate should not exceed 0.5% of the weight of the final product.

Note: Please be aware that there may be small bits of dark particles in this extract. These particles are part of the the papaya fruit that have solidify and they will dissolve in liquid.

Apart from working as a good face exfoliation mask, this extract is also great in struggling with unwanted hair. It will work only when hair is removed together with its root (waxing, etc.). I create a simple lotion with the papaya extract and apply it after the epilation. Visible hair reduce, and plus it helps greatly in preventing hair in-growth

A little goes a long way and it dissolves easily in water. This powder also has a rather strong scent when re-hydrated, which makes it a fragrant addition to facial masks and other products. The sample/3.3 oz I got was packaged in a bag though, which I found rather inconvenient. I poured the contents into a different container.

I am in the process of testing this Papaya Extract Powder for one of my dry facials. Let me tell you the fragrance is so yummy. And I am excited about how it is effecting my aging skin. I love it and am eager to present it to my customers in the Fall this year.
