Contains: Lavender, Marjoram, Patchouli, Mandarin, Geranium and Chamomile Roman (3% dilution in jojoba)
Characteristics: The oils in the Relaxation Synergy Blend are reputed as being some of the best for promoting a peaceful, relaxed state. Try it after a particularly trying day at work.
Usage: We recommend a 3 to 5% dilution for topical body applications.
Cautions: It is possible that this blend may cause sensitivities; users are recommended to use these blends only in dilution and not as a replacement for traditional medicine.

My RMT (who introduced me to NDA, what an angel!) used this for my aromatherapy session - it is very relaxing. A very nice blend. So far, haven't bought it for personal use, prefer it mostly for RMT sessions. For everyday use, I prefer the Meditation or Invigorating blends.

As a massage therapist, I offer "aromatherapy massage," which basically means a massage using fractionated coconut or almond oil (client's preference) with several drops of EO mixed in. Most clients ask for lavender for its relaxing properties. I got a client to try this blend instead and loved it. The nice thing about these massages is that I get the benefit of inhaling the oil at the same time the client receives the benefit of the topical application added to the aroma, so we both get to relax! Even though this oil has a very strong initial scent of lavender, your senses eventually filter it out and you begin to enjoy the subtler undertones of the other ingredients. My male client today even enjoyed it and didn't have to worry about walking around smelling like a flower pot.

This is a more calming type effect on me personally. I have mixed it with oil and lotion and it mixes beautifully following the recomended percent.

This is one of the best products I've ever purchased. Since I'm brand new at combining oils, it's great to be able to purchase blends pre-mixed by the New Directions experts! I especially like this one for those nights when you just can't calm down enough to sleep. I rub a few drops on my temples, nape and the crook of my elbow, so that when I curl up, I get a nice whiff before drifting off. It's a high quality product and it WORKS!

This blend of eo has a nice smell, though I personally prefer both the smell and the stimulation of lavendar French essential oil alone. I find that these synergy blends are an economical way for consumers to use a blend of different essential oils without having to pay for these individual oils separately.

The mix is very "perfume-like". At first, the perfume smell (I think the Lavender) is so strong that I can't sleep, however after it has settled, it is amazing. After that, there is a fruity smell that is wonderful. I spray it on our sheets and pillows every morning, so that at night, the smell is still on the sheets. I feel so relaxed when I lay down for bed because of this. I bought this for when I wake up during the night, and can't fall back asleep. It helps me fall asleep, which is nice when I wake up at 4 AM.

I love this blend! Perfect for unwinding those frazzled nerves after a crazy day. The aroma is mainly lavender, but the other EOs keep it from smelling all flowery. More of a hip, unisex scent than granny smell. My husband evens likes it. Works particularly well in linen sprays. Makes our sheets smell great and knocks us out every time.
