Rhassoul Clay is an exceptional clay with multipurpose assets. It is mined in the fertile Atlas Mountains of Morocco and has been used for over 12 centuries by population in North Africa, Southern Europe and Middle East.
Benefits: Rhassoul Clay's most impressive properties in skin improvement are its capacity of absorption due to its high level of ions exchange. This clay makes an amazing mask for your HAIR, with just a bit of coconut oil or argan oil to smooth out the consistency you end up with shiny bouncy hair. Great treatment for the scalp also. Rhassoul clay is a staple hair product for me now.

I will tell you what, if this clay doesn't pull it out of your skin nothing will. I did my first mask today. I'm kinda new to the clay department, but this was quite the experience. I like the dead sea mud, but I like this better. This stuff dries hard as a rock. You won't be moving face muscles, and yet it isn't uncomfortable or drying like most. Just a hard surface. No itchy irritated I have to get this stuff washed of now feeling. It washes off easily and smoothly. Your skin feels ultra smooth, but not dry, and I used it straight without mixing it with a carrier oil like I do with the dead sea mud. It also has no apparent smell.

This clay is really powerful as a cleanser yet not as drying as most clays. I don't find it leaves me skin feeling overly tight and it's great on the scalp to treat dandruff. It's fabulous in cp soap and adds a deep, rustic color and a hit of earthiness. It doesn't need to be cut with lighter clays to reduce staining and it's great for most skin types. It’s a great product, I add walnut carrier oil to reduce itchy feeling when it dries. To enhance results, here is what I do: 2 table spoons of calendula dry flowers and 2 table spoons of rose hip dry flowers mixed with 2 glasses of hot water in a bowl. Cover your head with a towel to catch herbal steam for about 5-7 minutes. Next step is to separate liquid from flowers and use clean cotton cloth to dip into it, leave it on your face for 5 minutes ( keep dipping, when it cools down). Now face is ready for mask – pores are open, skin is relaxed and results are so much better!

My mother had a severe case of cellulitis on her leg. This coupled with eczema. I made a mask of the Rhassoul clay let it dry for twenty minutes and used argan carrier oil after. After one week of treatments her leg has almost completely healed up. The drawing power of the clay mask and the detoxifying power of the clay pulled the residual infection out where the prescription medication that she was taking was not completely doing the job. My son also uses this as a spot remover for acne. Work like a charm with a little tea tree oil. Love this product. Can't wait to do more face masks with it.

This is an amaizing clay. I make my mask mixing this clay with hemp oil, neroli water and a combination of my favorite essential oils. I am very satisfied with the results and the clay. I have tried also the Zeolite clay, but Rhassoul is more suitable to my skin. I think Zeolite works better on oily skin.

I've used clays for many years to make my own masks. I've read several articles on Rhassoul & became very excited to try. I ordered & sad to say !! it was so popular.... I had to wait for a number of weeks. Well so worth the wait!!!!! I'm 54 & I still have very oily skin & after one use I could see the difference. Better texture, clarity & outstanding removal of dead skin layers. I've always suffered from blackheads & they are way down. I use min. of three times a week & also use a light layer overnite as a small breakouts. A very inexpensive repair for those bumps. Yes it works like a vacuum for the face, especially after I have steamed my face.
I have made my mask with mineral water, raw apple cider vinegar, floral waters for a variety. I've also done 1/2 & 1/2 with green clay due to my oily skin. I've been told even by friends & strangers that my skin glows! NOT TO BAD FOR 54!

A quick and easy way to prepare a facial mask, just mix with a a few tablespoons of rosewater and apply. The results are amazing. My skin has never been softer or smoother. I love Rhassoul Clay. It comes packaged in a jar with a twist off lid instead of a plastic ziplock bag. Awesome quality for a great price.

I love what this clay does for my skin and hair. It makes my skin soft, smooth and toned, and my hair amazingly shiny. I have tried many hair care products, including very expensive ones, but nothing has made my hair as shiny as rhassoul clay.

My favorite clay of all! Excellent for facial and hair masks. I also use it in soap and have had wonderful results. It helps reduces flakiness and is not overly drying. Rhassoul is a staple on my shelf...and New Directions' price is about half of what i was previously paying for it. I am thrilled that New Directions is carrying it because i know their products are always top notch!

Rhassoul clay is an amazing product. It strenghtens the scalp, and makes the hair beautiful. Better not use it on coloured hair : it will wash out the colour. For the skin, as is, mixed with a floral water, it is very effective : closes the pores, deeply cleans and tones. It never leaves to the skin a dry feeling. This is one of the best products for all types of skin. I use it in my soaps and the results are wonderful. It does not loose its properties and gives your products an interesting colour.

I have heard about the cleansing power of Rhassoul clay before, and tried it for the first time yesterday. Indeed, it worked very, very well. My pores were visibly cleaned after the application. Be careful when opening the jar, so that you don't get powders all over your clothes.
