Rhassoul Clay

Description: Rhassoul Clay is an exceptional clay with multipurpose assets. It is mined in the fertile Atlas mountains of Morocco and has been used for over 12 centuries by population in North Africa, Southern Europe and Middle East.
Rhassoul clay's most impressive properties in skin improvement are its capacity of absorption due to its high level of ions exchange. Studies have shown that it is reputed to reduce dryness and flakiness, improve skin clarity and elasticity.It is rich in magnesium, Silica, potassium and calcium. It is used in many professional applications in Spas and it aids in rejuvenation, de-toxification and toning of the skin. It can be used in soaps, shampoos, facial hair and body masks and skin conditioners.

This Moroccan Clay is spectacular ! It really stimulates the circulation, exfolliates & energizes the skin, when used as a masque with other ingredients. It is one of the main components in my Biblical historical masque that my Clients love!

I've used clays for many years to make my own masks. I've read several articles on Rhassoul & became very excited to try. I ordered & sad to say !! it was so popular.... I had to wait for a number of weeks. Well so worth the wait!!!!! I'm 54 & I still have very oily skin & after one use I could see the difference. Better texture, clarity & outstanding removal of dead skin layers. I've always suffered from blackheads & they are way down. I use min. of three times a week & also use a light layer overnite as a small breakouts. A very inexpensive repair for those bumps. Yes it works like a vacuum for the face, especially after I have steamed my face.
I have made my mask with mineral water, raw apple cider vinegar, floral waters for a variety. I've also done 1/2 & 1/2 with green clay due to my oily skin. I've been told even by friends & strangers that my skin glows! NOT TO BAD FOR 54!
From an article I have recently read RHASSOUL - has been ""clinically proven to:
- reduce dryness (79%)
- reduce flakiness (41%)
- improve skin clarity (68%)
- improves skin elasticity/firmness (24%)
- improves skin texture (106%)
- removes surface oil & oil from the inside (blackhead &

I first applied aloe vera from an aloe vera plant. Next, I mixed mineral water with the clay. Then, I applied it to my face, ears, neck, arms, feet, and toes. I was delighted with the result--softer, clearer skin. Many thanks for a wonderful product.

All around the most incredible clay on the market for the best deal in town. Adjustable for any and all skin types and concerns. Wonderful with Bioplex active and lavender floral water as a detoxifying wash that you can leave on for a few minutes for an effective, exfoliating, quick n' easy mask. I mix rhassoul clay with green tea extract and brine water for a very toning, super deep pore cleansing mask that leaves my skin's complexion visibly clean for weeks. I also like this clay with liquid castille soaps and essential oils for an incredibly spa wash. As a spot treatment and on the scalp, bodily afflictions and to aid in healing, this rhassoul clay from NDA is the best bang for the buck!! Highly recommended...and the big quantity you get is bangin'!!!

An instant hit! This is a great, high quality clay. The product is well packaged and securely shipped. A quick and easy way to prepare a facial mask, just mix with a a few tablespoons of rosewater and apply. The results are amazing. My skin has never been softer or smoother. I love Rhassoul Clay. It comes packaged in a jar with a twist off lid instead of a plastic ziplock bag. Awesome quality for a great price.

I love what this clay does for my skin and hair. It makes my skin soft, smooth and toned, and my hair amazingly shiny. I have tried many hair care products, including very expensive ones, but nothing has made my hair as shiny as rhassoul clay.

My favorite clay of all! Excellent for facial and hair masks. I also use it in soap and have had wonderful results. It helps reduces flakiness and is not overly drying. Rhassoul is a staple on my shelf...and New Directions' price is about half of what i was previously paying for it. I am thrilled that New Directions is carrying it because i know their products are always top notch!

Rhassoul clay is an amazing product. It strenghtens the scalp, and makes the hair beautiful. Better not use it on coloured hair : it will wash out the colour. For the skin, as is, mixed with a floral water, it is very effective : closes the pores, deeply cleans and tones. It never leaves to the skin a dry feeling. This is one of the best products for all types of skin. I use it in my soaps and the results are wonderful. It does not loose its properties and gives your products an interesting colour.

I have heard about the cleansing power of Rhassoul clay before, and tried it for the first time yesterday. Indeed, it worked very, very well. My pores were visibly cleaned after the application. Be careful when opening the jar, so that you don't get powders all over your clothes.
