Description: Rhubarb root is rhizome native to Western China. The Rhubarb Root has a long history in herbal medicine, and its genus name Rheum is believed to come from the Greek "rheo", meaning "to flow" in reference to its purgative properties.
Common Uses:When used externally, rhubarb root extract may be useful in the topical application for the treatment of minor skin disorders.
