Roses are traditionally known for their heavenly aroma. Metaphorically the rose is related to the emotion love, and traditionally the most predominant flower symbol in the world, symbolizing love, youth and beauty. Historically the name Rosa comes from the Greek word, rodon, meaning red. The traditional and contemporary uses of rose are almost the same. It has been mainly used for its fragrance component and its soothing effect.

Common Uses: Rose Buds can be used in compresses, poultices, soap making, bath fizzies, bath sachets and potpourri.

I opened my box today and as always it is like getting Christmas all over again. I ordered several botanicals. One of them being the Rose Buds here. Was I ever surprised, yes I read the reviews but the amount and the the wonderful fragrance they are sent my heart singing. I have never been dispointed with my orders and each one reinforces my commitment to order quality items. NDA quality and packaging of items are excellent. These are really, really pretty looking. They smell nice. You get the whole, complete bud. And they don't weigh very much so you get a lot of buds for your money. They make a lovely potpurri, too.
