History: Approximately 4000 kilograms of petals are required to produce 1 kilogram of pure rose oil. Absolutely LOVE this oil. I can't keep my nose out of the bottle. I use this in just about everything... This is one I can't live without!!

Out of the bottle it smells like over-ripe rose, but in the bath or blends it isn't as pungent and takes on a softer tone (Lesson learned: you get what you pay for).
