Description:
Sage is a member of the mint family and is used mainly in cooking. The sage plant is a dense, upright bush about 2 to 3 feet in height. The stems are woody and square and the leaves are arranged oppositely on the stem. Plant Part Used: Bark Color: Brown grounded barks Scent: Slightly bitter and aromatic Common Uses: Sage Bark makes a for great exfoliant when added to soaps. It can also be used in bath fizzies and Potpourris.
As with all manufacturing processes, New Directions Aromatics Recommends that small, lab scale production be conducted prior to any commercial runs.
