The classic scent of sandalwood. Top notes of jasmine greeting cedarwood and gardenia mid notes. A rich sandalwood and musk at the base resonates throughout the fragrance.

This is a very mellow and warm sandalwood scent. Has a noticeable cedar scent to it that is not overpowered, but paired nicely with musk. It is not the strongest fragrance oil, however. I had to use about 1.2oz per lb of oil to get a good smell in the bar, and it is really only noticeable close up (I used this in CP soap, and it is still curing.) However, this price is quite unbeatable for such a satisfying sandalwood scent. A very calming aroma. Would buy again to blend with.

I bought this aas a special request for a customer and both the customer and I couldn't smell the Sandalwood at all. All we could smell was the floral notes.

Please NDA make this scent a teeny bit stronger---I love it (as you can tell by how often I buy it) but I'd be eternally grateful if you'd consider adding to its depth and complexity.

This scent is too light; once in soaps its hard to smell. In lotions it also disappears which is disappointing because I love sandlewood so much. Mixing it w/ a warm fragrance might help like vanilla.

I do wish this scent were a teensy bit stronger, but I think that's only because I've been spoiled by the Sandalwood EO...this works wonderfully with Rose Garden, and I disagree with the other poster who said that this FO gets lost when blending...if you put in a good amount, it works beautifully.

Wonderful FO at a fraction of the EO price. Very much like the real thing---yes, you may have to use a bit more to get the desired result..but that's only because it's naturally not going to be as strong as the matching essential oil. Mixes well with Rose EO and other woodsy/floral type scents.

Initially I was unhappy with this scent because I'm accustomed to the real thing, but once I shopped around I realized how good this sandalwood FO really is. Most FO's I've tried smell nothing like sandalwood! This oil is close enough to be an acceptable substitute. It does get lost when blended, but regardless I think this FO is an example of NDA's commitment to carrying only high quality products at a cost-effective price.

And it is as I feared, this scent TOTALLY disappeared in my HP soap. What a disappointment since I so love sandalwood but the EO is out of my price range for a hobbyist. =(

The scent of this fragrance oil is absolutely fantastic! It has a really wonderful warm and sweet smell with a very smoky undertone, much like campfire embers. My only complaint is that the aroma isn't very powerful. It fades quickly when applied directly to the skin, and I have to take a big whiff even to smell it right out of the bottle. I bought it to use in HP soap, but now I'm not too sure... It is, however, the most pleasing sandalwood fragrance I have EVER smelled!

Very nice sandalwood.. Usually I get a headache from sandalwood but not this one.. This one has a nice woody scent and combined with frankincense results in a nice men's line scent.

The fragrance was lovely but didn't last long in cold process soap, in fact is was scarcely apparent after only a few weeks. I'll try using more next time. I used 15 ml per poind of soap but think 25 would be better. I'll keep you informed!

Smelling this and my authentic Vanatu sandalwood, I was surprised at how similar they were. Usually sandalwood FOs can be a little perfumy, or too cedar-y, but this was warm, soft and sweet.

I didn't find any fading in CP with this scent at all. I actually love this scent and blended with amber FO it's a best seller. The sexy tones of Sandalwood compliment the sensual tones of Amber and make a spectacular scent! A great economical way to achieve the same scent at a cheaper price than EOs.

A very nice sandalwood. Blends wonderfully with other FO's and EO's. A very warm, sexy and exotic fragrance. It fades a bit in CP soap so you need to use a bit more. In lotions, scrubs & boby butters it's totally divine.
