Description: This exotic powder comes from the Sandal Tree which is an evergreen tree that grows only in the southern areas of India, and somewhat in Australia. The heartwood or the center of the trunk is harvested and grounded into powder.
Common Uses:
This powder has fine particles which provides a gentle exfoliating action, and helps unblock pores and remove dirt and flaking skin. It is said to have mild antibacterial properties and can act as a light cleanser.
Sandalwood powder has a light, delicate woody scent and is considered a natural choice as an exfoliant in skin care products such as facial cleansers, creams soaps and soaps.
Recommended Usage:
Soap : 2-5%
Cleanser: 1-3%

This Sandalwood powder is terrific. I add it to my CP soap to curb the amount of sandalwood EO I use and it smells divine. Not only does it smell great, but it serves as a gentle exfoliant for my bars. Kudos to you NDA!!!

Great product at a great price. I used this product to make Sandalwood Rose CP soap. Product added a nice medium textured exfoliant quality to soap. Everyone who smelled the soap said it smelled divine and that the sandalwood was the scent that stuck out the most. Plus I didn't even add any sandalwood EO to enhance the smell. Good product for those on a budget who want to limit the amount of sandalwood EO that goes into a recipe or for those who want to add a medium non-abrasive exfolianting quality to their products.

I am so pleased with this product! Use it alone as an exfoliating cleanser, or combine it with other ingredients for an exfoliating mask. I use this as my facial cleanser, and my skin looks and feels amazing!

Excellent value and a wonderful product. The scent is divine and pronounced enough to stand alone in various products. Scrubs, soaps, etc. You will not be disappointed in this one.
