INCI: Hydrolyzed Silk Peptides
Description: Silk Amino Acid contains alanine, glycine and serine, which are sighted as the protein stimulants in our skin and hair. They have a high dispersion rate, allowing this fine powder to easily dissipate in liquids or into other powders. It is especially good for use in hair care products, as it protects hair from moisture loss and conditions it to provide a silky smoothness. Consider adding it to our ready to use cosmetic bases.
Application: Usage Rate is between 2-5% by weight. Can be used in a wide variety of products such as shampoo, conditioner, hair treatment, body wash, body lotion, cleaner, toner, makeup foundation, lipstick, mascara, color cosmetics.

I am amazed with this product! It blended so well with a base of essential oils, lemongrass water, and extract products. There are other products I may use if concentrating on facial serums. However, it does well in nourishing mixtures and firming serums, too. Versatility is such a great thing to have. Since the product is so well priced, this may also be suited to a medicinal topical treatment. I'm thinking of an application and treatment plan for the bottom of feet. They do need good care as well.
