Description: Soap Paints are a wonderful way to brighten up plain and boring soaps. Our Soap Paints are vibrant and will last through several layers. Available in assorted colors, each color pot contains 30ml / 1oz of natural, non-bleeding color in a vegetable base. Water-soluble, safe and non-toxic, these soap paints can be used on both cold processed soaps and melt & pour soaps. Colors can be blended to create custom colors.

Soap Paints Tips and Care: • The use of professional artist brushes are recommended in order to create smooth, even strokes. Cheaper brushes can create an uneven, streaked appearance in the applied paint. • Allow painted surface to dry for 15 minutes (we suggest overnight) before applying a second color layer. • Do not wrap painted soaps for at least 24 hours to avoid paint pulling away from soap surface. The soap needs time to cure. • It is recommended that colors be tested on scrap soap so as to gain a feel for working with the paint. • If soap is difficult to work with lightly dust the soap surface with cornstarch for better paint adhesion. Paint has a tendency to pull away from oily surfaces, such as soap. This is especially true of melt and pour soaps. CP (cold process) soaps tend to have more of a porous surface and paint adheres better.

I really enjoy these soap paints! They work quite nicely and adorn my line of Painted Soaps beautifully. I love the range of colors available as well- particularly the gold!
