Beeswax is a great natural alternative to paraffin, but to get the same results as a soy-based candle, it is very expensive. Soy wax is a new alternative to paraffin wax that is cost effective. Soy wax is also made from a renewable source.

The lower melting point of soy wax results in a larger size of the liquid wax pool around the candle wick. It is from this liquid wax pool that the essential oils evaporate into the atmosphere.

Container Choice:
• Container Choice is probably one of the most critical things to choose correctly for any container candle to get good results. The container shape affects the cooling rate of the wax. For optimal results, the cooling rate should be as uniform as possible.
• Containers with uniform wall thickness are easier to pre-warm and maintain a uniform cooling rate.
• Containers with smooth rounded corners are best.
• For optimal single pour characteristics, containers with a diameter equal to or larger than the height are required. Containers with a diameter smaller than the height may require a second pour to top them up.

We love this all natural soy wax alternative to the petrolum based wax. It has been used by our company for several years now and find that the scent in our candles radiates more and burns for several hours longer than any other brand. We have found that this wax is easiest to use and cools quicker with less cracking- we very rarely need to top off our candles which saves us valuable time. Colors turn out a little muted due to the natural creamy white color that soy wax offers; which we have found that the consumers prefer as they blend in with a room better, they simply turn out better than ever! We recommend this product time and time again.
