Botanical Name: Helianthus annuus

Extraction Method: Cold Pressed

Description: Sunflower Carrier Oil has high amounts of Vitamins A, B, D and E, minerals, lecithin, insulin, unsaturated fatty acids, and by all accounts, it is a good product for the skin.

Color: Pale yellow to yellow liquid.

Common Uses: Sunflower Carrier Oil is a versatile oil that can be used in massage, manufacturing, and in aromatherapy.

Absorption: Absorbs into skin at average speed, slight oil feeling left on skin.

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 6 months to 1 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.

I have used this with the dead sea salts, both the coarse and the fine. A little bit goes a long way on the skin. It absorbs quickly and is not heavy at all. Takes fragrance well.

I used this in my lotion, along with shea butter, its very light and absorbs very quickly and its not at all greasy. Leaves the skin soft and nourished. The smell is very light, so the oil natural odor wont come through when you ad your fragrance to your lotions.

Very nice! No odor to compete with fragrances. very slightly greasy. leaves a light tacky feeling on skin when used alone.
